After Advocating For a National Mask Mandate, Biden Says It’s “Probably Unconstitutional”

Former Vice President and 2020 Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden may go down as the biggest “flip-flop” candidate in US history.

After advocating for a national mask mandate where American citizens would be forced to wear a mask every time they leave their home, Biden is now stating that a mask mandate is “probably unconstitutional.”

“Let’s institute a mask mandate nationwide, starting immediately and we will save lives.” said Biden just one month ago. “The estimate is that we will save over 40,000 lives in the next 3 months if that is done.”

During a recent interview, Biden was asked if his proposed mask mandate was unconstitutional.

“I don’t think constitutionally they could,” Biden said when asked if his mask mandate was constitutional or not, adding, “so I would not issue a mandate.”

This is a complete flip flop from just one month ago when he said he WOULD issue a mask mandate.
