Another Shocking Poll Is Horrible News For Democrats Who Thought Trump Lost All Support

Impeaching President Donald Trump just days before he is set to leave office anyway is not just a pointless, probably unconstitutional act, it smacks of vindictiveness and an outright hatred that, point-blank, is likely a death blow for our country.

How do Trump’s legions of supporters ever come to terms with such cruelty? How can they ever look a Democrat (and a few Republicans) in the same way again – as people they disagree with but at least still consider to be fellow Americans?

Personally, I don’t believe they can, or will. And that belief is bolstered by the results of a new poll that doesn’t surprise me, but will no doubt continue to bewilder Washington’s establishment political class which, as the ‘final days impeachment’ proves, are so out of touch with the vast majority of those whom they mean to govern.

The Washington Examiner notes:

An overwhelming majority of President Trump supporters surveyed by pollster Frank Luntz over the weekend said they’d still vote for the president again despite last week’s riot on Capitol Hill.

“Despite their criticism of his conduct since November 3rd and last week, 91% of Trump voters say they’d still vote for him if another presidential election were held today,” Luntz tweeted Monday.

Got that? Nine-out-of-10 Trump voters would still vote for him again and, if he runs in four years – doubtful even for him at a youthful 74, currently – most likely still would.

The thing is, no matter how many times Democrats, RINOs, and their fake news media lackeys scream “insurrection at the Capitol Building!” and try to claim Trump was the one who “incited” it, they’re really just talking to themselves. They’re not ‘reaching’ the president’s supporters, because the president’s supporters don’t believe them, they believe their eyes and their ears.

They know our president didn’t order anyone to riot and storm the Capitol Building.

So this isn’t good news at all for Democrats. But the survey is also very instructive for Republicans.

But here’s what’s also key regarding the survey: If the GOP hopes to win back the White House in a few years, the last thing the party should do is ‘rebuild’ outside of the Trump sphere of influence. The vast majority of the president’s supporters are not going to go for a Milquetoast Romney or some other spineless RINO cut from the same cloth.

They’ve been to the dance with the best date they could have ever found – Donald Trump – and has set the bar, set the standard, for the party moving forward.

Anyone with an “R” behind their name who does not agree should crossover to the “Government Party” right now.
