AOC Tells Another BIG LIE; Claims Capitol Protest Was An ‘All-Out Attempted Coup’

Democrats continue to hammer away with their false narrative that the brief occupation of the Capitol in January was an “insurrection”. Of course this is a gross distortion of a mostly peaceful protest over election irregularities that is being used to justify a war on dissent.

Adding to the hysterical overreaction to the incident is Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. This human lie machine routinely cranks out more whoppers than Burger King, and she put her own uniquely dishonest spin on what happened that day.

In remarks during an interview that aired Friday on the nationally syndicated public radio program “Latino USA,” AOC made claims about what went down that day. A ragtag group of disorganized protesters along with far-left agitators briefly “occupied” the Capitol, but to her it was “an all-out attempted coup,” perhaps her biggest lie yet.

According to AOC, who talked to host Maria Hinojosa about the “extraordinarily traumatizing event,” the Trump supporters who did manage to get into the building were within seconds of seizing control of the entire government. Characteristically ignoring facts, like they were more interested in taking selfies than anything else. Her raving assertions would be laughable were it not for a corrupt media that has pushed essentially the same false narrative.

“This was an all-out attempted coup,” she said, “Mike Pence was taken out of the Senate chamber something like 60 seconds before these terrorists, insurrectionists got into the Senate chamber…60 seconds could have meant potentially the difference between what we have right now and a martial state,” claimed AOC.

She continued, “and we don’t want to acknowledge that’s how close we got. But that is how close we got, we think of coups as something that happens in quote, unquote, banana Republics or in the developing countries or the third world… and it happened here.” AOC said.

Ocasio-Cortez added, “If 60 seconds went differently, if a different door was opened, if a chair wasn’t barricaded in a certain way, we could have a completely different reality right now. We don’t want to acknowledge that that’s how close we got, but that is how close we got.”

To sum it up, what she is claiming is that the so-called “insurrectionists” were within one minute of gaining control of the military and the entire federal apparatus. After all, that is what a successful coup would require. It is mind-boggling that she is allowed to not only continue to tell her brazen lies but continues to be rewarded for it as well.

Her tall tale about the “all-out attempted coup” isn’t the first lie that AOC told about that day either, she grossly exaggerated the “danger” that she was in while she cowered in her office.

But her office wasn’t even in the Capitol building that was “stormed,” an inconvenient detail that was pointed out by Rep. Nancy Mace, a Republican from South Carolina

AOC’s latest big lie will surely aid the push for the establishment of Nancy Pelosi’s vaunted “9/11 style” commission. The grotesquely un-American spectacle will surely feature ordinary citizens being hauled in front of a Soviet-style tribunal for their political activity.

The House passed the legislation to create this travesty but it is expected to run into Republican resistance in the Senate. GOP Minority Mitch McConnell has already come out against it. This means it will be very important for the Democrats and their winged monkeys in the media to blow what really took place out of proportion to close the deal.

There are just some things that are indisputable facts of nature, the sky is blue, fish swim, birds fly, and AOC lies.
