BET Founder Has Bad News For Anyone Who Wants Trump To Lose In 2020

In a brand new interview with CNBC, Black Entertainment Television (BET) founder Robert Johnson says President Trump is still the runaway favorite to win the 2020 election.

Of the many reasons Johnson likes Trump's chances to win, he said Trump’s ability to “dominate the news cycle” puts him head and shoulders above his 2020 competition.

He also gave Trump an A+ grade when it comes to managing and growing the U.S. economy.

“I still stand by that position, absolutely,” he told CNBC, citing historic lows for black unemployment.

Watch the interview below:

“I think the president has always been in a position where it’s his to lose based on the fact that he’s bringing sort of a disruptive force into what would be called political norms. I don’t care whether it’s the way he conducts foreign policy, the way he takes on the government agencies and how he deals with immigration, he brings his style. Now a lot of people, particularly those who voted for him and those who will vote for him again in the next election, like that style,” Johnson told CNBC.

“If you take a snapshot today, I don’t think that group is capable of beating Trump despite what the polls say,” he said of the 2020 Democrat field.
