Former vice president Joe Biden delivered a speech on Monday night demanding that President Trump concede the election to him despite irregularities in multiple states.
Good old Joe from Scranton’s bitter rant was televised nationally on the day that the Electoral College voted to move him one step closer to occupying the White House and instead of a call for unity, the 49-year inhabitant of the swamp attacked his nemesis.
Now that it is no longer necessary to portray himself like a kind old uncle in order to dup low-information white voters, the cranky old man from the campaign trail who clashed with voters during the primaries made a return.
Lunchbucket Joe raged against Trump, accusing him of an “unprecedented assault on democracy” although that “democracy” is more akin to that of a corrupt hellhole like Ukraine that Biden was responsible for when he was Barack Obama’s second banana.
In a 13-minute speech that was punctuated with him clearing his throat, Biden invoked “democracy” which used to mean free and fair elections that weren’t tainted by the stench of fraud.
Speaking near his home in Delaware, Biden noted that he and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris had won more votes than any previous presidential ticket in history, calling their victory the “clearest demonstration of the will of the American people.”
Biden noted that he won by about the same Electoral College margin as Trump did in 2016. The president at the time called it a “landslide victory.”
The former vice president said that Trump had made use of every legal avenue available to him in challenging the outcome and that now it is time to accept the results and move on.
“Respecting the will of the people is at the heart of our democracy even when we find those results hard to accept,” Biden said. “But that’s the obligation of those who have taken on a sworn duty to uphold the Constitution.”
“In this battle for the soul of America, democracy prevailed … faith in our institutions held and the integrity of our elections remained intact,” he continued. “And now it’s time to turn the page as we’ve done throughout our history, to unite and to heal.”
Biden’s call to “unite and to heal” is laughable after a weekend where the social media account for his dogs posted a picture of them mauling a chew toy of President Trump and his supporters beat and menaced attendees of an election integrity rally in the streets of D.C.
Even though the Electoral College has voted and the Supreme Court has rejected the Texas lawsuit, there are still legal challenges and the possibility of a smoking gun that proves the theft of the election that could derail the Obama-Biden restoration.
Presuming that Biden does end up in the White House, it is unlikely that a large number of the 74 million Americans who were disenfranchised by a corrupt process are going to simply accept his regime as a legitimate one.
The REAL resistance may be about to begin.
