On Friday, Biden claimed that he had not urged Obama to hold off on the raid that killed Bin Laden.

The moment came when Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked the former Vice President if he would have made the same decision as President Trump to kill Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani.

“As commander in chief, if you were ever handed a piece of intelligence that said you could stop an imminent attack on Americans — but you have to use an airstrike to take out a terrorist leader — would you pull the trigger?” Doocy asked.

“Well we did – the guy’s name was Usama bin Laden,” Biden stated.

“Didn’t you tell President Obama not to go after bin Laden that day?” Doocy questioned.

“No, I didn’t,” Biden replied.

This was a flat out lie considering Biden publicly stated back in 2012 that he told former NOT to go after Bin Laden.

“Mr. President, my suggestion is, don’t go — we have to do two more things to see if he’s there,” Biden said back in 2012.

Republican National Committee spokesman Steve Guest made sure to call out Biden for his lie: “This isn’t another instance of Joe Biden misspeaking, it’s an instance of Biden flat-out lying.”

Biden even had the audacity to call out President Trump for his attack during a campaign event in Iowa, saying that the decision to attack was short-sided and dangerous.

“No matter how rightly reviled he was in the West, he was a senior figure in the Iranian government,” Biden said.

“I don’t know and you don’t know what the hell he’s done,” Biden said to Doocy. “We don’t know if he’s coordinated with our allies, we have no idea what commitments he’s made, we have no idea. I just hope he has a plan for second and third iterations of this — but it’s clear there’s going to have to be more folks there to protect the embassy, to protect American personnel in Iraq.”

Retired Maj. General James "Spider" Marks had some harsh words for critics like Biden has he blasted anti-Trump critics for their criticism of President Trump.

The retired general started off by shredding Democrat Senator Chris Murphy who stated that the airstrikes may spark a "massive regional war."

“What I would say to Senator Murphy is, why don’t you just be quiet?” Marks said. “Look, when has Iran ever demonstrated self-restraint? I mean, that’s the question I have. So is the world more dangerous today? Maybe it’s more dangerous. But when has it not been dangerous? When have we not been a target of a regime like exists in Tehran? I mean, it happens as a matter of routine.”

Marks continued by saying that Soleimani was "amazingly brazen" to be in the area during the time of the attack on the United States embassy.

“I’m certain what happened was… the president made the determination ‘let’s pull the trigger now,’” Marks said. “And I would say it’s not causably linked to what occurred at the U.S. Embassy a few days before other than he happened to be there checking up on what was taking place.”
