BREAKING: Cuomo Will Ask Trump For More Hydroxychloroquine Supply After Promising Results

President Trump has been vindicated once again as New York Governor Andrew Cuomo admitted that the anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine has been "effective" in treating Coronavirus patients. In fact, the results have been so positive that Cuomo said he is going to call President Trump and ask for additional supply this afternoon.

There has been anecdotal evidence that it is promising; that’s why we’re going ahead,” Cuomo said.

"And if we get an additional supply - which the Federal Government says they're going to send - I'm going to mention it to the President when I call him this afternoon - we can lift the 14 day limit ban," Cuomo added.

“The tests in the hospital, they’re too short a period of time to get a scientific report,” Cuomo said. “Hospital administrators, doctors want to have a significant data set before they give a formal opinion. Anecdotally, you’ll get suggestions that it has been effective"

This is huge.

The liberal media has downplayed the effect of the anti-malaria drug for weeks now, but the FACTS are on President Trump's side.

Less than 24 hours ago, a Doctor from Los Angeles also spoke highly about the incredible results he's seen in his hospital.

As reported by local affiliate ABC7, Dr. Anthony Cardillo said he’s seen a lot of promising results after prescribing the drug in combination with zinc for the sickest COVID-19 patients.

“Every patient I've prescribed it to has been very, very ill and within 8 to 12 hours, they were basically symptom-free," Cardillo told Eyewitness News. "So clinically I am seeing a resolution.”

Dr. Cardillo also added he has found it only works if combined with zinc. The drug, he said, opens a channel for the zinc to enter the cell and block virus replication.

He added that the drug should not be prescribed for those who are presenting only mild symptoms, as there are concerns about shortages for patients with other conditions who need to take the drug on a regular basis.
