BREAKING: Durham Sets His Sights On John Brennan In Criminal Investigation

John Durham, the U.S attorney selected by AG Barr to look into the origins of the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation against President Trump, has reportedly begun scrutinizing John Brennan’s handling of a secret source close to the Kremlin.

Durham was selected in 2019 to examine early actions by intelligence officials, and he is now looking into whether or not agencies were kept in the dark to create a negative preconceived notion about Trump and Russia regarding election interference in 2016.

In October of 2019, Durham’s investigation took a huge turn, with the Justice Department opening a criminal inquiry into the matter.

More from the Washington Examiner:

The top Connecticut prosecutor’s team reviewed emails from the CIA, FBI, and National Security Agency analysts who came together to assess Russia’s interference, the new report revealed, and Durham’s investigators pressed for answers about why some agencies at least temporarily denied other agencies access to secretive intelligence about the Kremlin’s active-measures campaign.

This confirms Durham may be pursuing the theory that former CIA director John Brennan denied information to other agencies to create a biased result against Trump in the Russia investigation.

The theory instantiated after the NSA requested more details on a source said to be close to the Kremlin, and the CIA was hesitant to provide details of its credibility. It was later revealed that the NSA disagreed with the CIA on how much confidence they had in the source.

Adm. Mike Rogers, the former head of the NSA, was interviewed by Durham last year. As of today, John Durham has not interviewed John Brennan, but he has requested emails along with other records from the FBI and CIA.
