According to a bombshell report, far-Left congresswoman Ilhan Omar allegedly used tens of thousands of campaign donation dollars to fund “travel expenses” which were actually used to fund an affair she had with political strategist Tim Mynett.
The Federal Election Commission (FEC) uncovered that Omar made travel payments in early April to E. Street Group, LLC, the company owned by Mynett. Just one week later, Mynett’s wife Dr. Beth Jordan Mynett accused her husband of having an affair with Omar.
“Dr. Beth Jordan Mynett says her cheating spouse, Tim Mynett, told her in April that he was having an affair with the Somali-born US representative and that he even made a ‘shocking declaration of love’ for the Minnesota congresswoman before he ditched her, alleges the filing, submitted in DC Superior Court on Tuesday,” The New York Post reported.
It gets crazier. Tim Mynett admitted that he was involved in an affair with the congresswoman.
Tim and Jordan Mynett were “physically separated on or about April 7, 2019, when Defendant told Plaintiff that he was romantically involved with and in love with another woman, Ilhan Omar.”
The New York Post continued: “The 37-year-old congresswoman and mom of three paid Tim Mynett and his E. Street Group approximately $230,000 through her campaign since 2018 for fundraising consulting, digital communications, Internet advertising and travel expenses.”
Tom Anderson who happens to be a government ethics watchdog, warned that if Omar used campaign funds to fund an affair, she may be in legal jeopardy.
“We believe Representative Ilhan Omar may have touched the third rail of campaign finance law: disbursing campaign funds for personal use,” Anderson said. “It’s a brazen act Representative Omar was caught doing before in Minnesota and all of the evidence we’ve seen tells us she’s probably doing it again.”
Conservatives all across the Twitter world are responding to the bombshell report.
Reporter Jordan Schachtel sarcastically tweeted: “Oh okay. No corruption there.”
Investigative reporter Luke Rosiak added: “Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA) is being criminally prosecuted and facing prison for using campaign funds to fund extramarital affairs. What will the Minnesota U.S. Attorney do?”

Investigative reporter David Steinberg revealed that Omar actually entered the Mynett’s home while the wife was away.
“I’ve avoided @IlhanMN’s affair. The only newsworthy element was the large payments,” Steinberg said in a tweet. “But … Omar *entered the wife’s home while she was away*. WOW. Voters deserve to know that.”
“That is an objectively disturbing claim about @IlhanMN’s moral judgment,” Steinberg added. “It has nothing to do with complicated adult relationships. Entering the home, even if invited by Mynett, is troubling. Still think she can’t be the multiple felon all the evidence shows her to be?”
