According to a new bombshell report from The Daily Mail, President Donald Trump is reportedly drafting up an “enemies list” of RINO Republicans who have completely betrayed him and the American people.
The Daily Mail also claims that Trump is planning on creating a “Patriot Party” to pressure Republicans. The news outlet claims he is in part doing this in an effort to protect himself from impeachment in the Senate.
The Daily Mail reports:
Donald Trump is reportedly moving forward with his plans to create a ‘Patriot Party’ to put pressure on Republicans who oppose him and attempt to head off conviction in his second Senate impeachment trial.
Trump has told people that the third-party threat gives him leverage to prevent Republican senators from voting to convict him during the Senate trial next month, people in his orbit told the Washington Post.
Since President Joe Biden took office, Trump has been ensconced at Mar-a-Lago, remaining publicly cryptic about his plans except to tell a reporter on Friday: ‘We’ll do something, but not just yet.’
But behind closed doors, Trump is already drafting an enemies list of Republicans who opposed his baseless claims of election fraud, instructing aids to prepare primary challenges against them, sources told the Post.
It is worth noting that the New York Times is reporting that President Trump is now not wanting to create his own party but is considering running again.
“In last 24 hours, after floating through a few folks that he was considering creating a third-party as a way to keep Senate Rs in line ahead of impeachment, Trump has been talked out of that and is making clear to people he isn’t pursuing it, per ppl familiar w his thinking,” the New York Times’ Maggie Haberman tweeted Sunday.
Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell, said to Newsmax TV that Trump has told him “personally, numerous times, he does want to run again.”
The news comes after a separate report dropped by CNN proved that Republicans are now confronting Senate Leader Mitch McConnell behind the scenes and urging him to impeach Trump.
“Mitch said to me he wants Trump gone,” said one Republican congress member to CNN. “It is in his political interest to have him gone. It is in the GOP interest to have him gone. The question is, do we get there?”
Earlier in the month, Senate Leader Chuck Schumer announced that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi would be going forward with impeaching Trump.
“I have spoken to Speaker Pelosi who informed me that the articles will be delivered to the Senate on Monday,” Schumer said.
Republicans including McConnell appear to support the idea from barring President Trump from ever running again.
Mark Halperin on Newsmax reported: “Mitch McConnell and establishment Republicans reportedly don’t want to see Trump on the ballot in 2024. McConnell’s latest move in the senate may be about not only to convict the president but to pass with the majority something that would bar him from holding office again.”
McConnell is beginning to be more vocal about his hatred for President Trump considering he too slammed the President during his own speech on Tuesday.
“The last time the Senate convened, we had just reclaimed the Capitol from violent criminals who tried to stop congress from doing our duty. The mob was fed lies. They were provoked by the President and other powerful people,” McConnell said. “And they tried to use fear and violence to stop a specific proceeding of the first branch of the federal government which they did not like.”
“But we pressed on. We stood together and said an angry mob would not get veto power over the rule of law in our nation, not even for one night. We certified the people’s choice for their 46th president,” McConnell added.
