According to NBC News, the video surveillance footage that was taken outside of Jeffrey Epstein's prison cell the night he allegedly committed suicide, has been permanently deleted.

NBC reports that the video footage is now gone because Metropolitan Correctional Center officials "mistakenly" saved the wrong footage.

The MCC "inadvertently preserved video from the wrong tier within the MCC and as a result, video from outside the defendant’s cell on July 22-23, 2019 no longer exists," the court papers said.

This breaking discovery was made last week by the FBI.

"After reviewing the video, it appeared to the government that the footage contained on the preserved video was for the correct date and time, but captured a different tier than the one where (the cell housing Epstein and his cellmate] was located because the preserved video did not show corrections officers responding to any of the cells seen on the video.”

Check out what NBC News reported:

The filing was made in a case involving Nicholas Tartaglione, a former police officer in Westchester County, who was Epstein's cellmate on the day of the incident. Tartaglione is awaiting trial on charges of killing four men and burying them in his yard in 2016. Prosecutors allege that the ex-cop was involved in a cocaine distribution conspiracy.

The July incident was investigated as a possible suicide attempt, assault or ruse by Epstein to get himself transferred to a different facility. Tartaglione's lawyer, as part of an effort to exonerate his client, asked the jail to preserve footage from outside the cell.

The MCC agreed to the request but officials saved the wrong video because of a clerical error. "The MCC computer system listed a different, incorrect cell for Tartaglione," prosecutors said in the court filing.

It is extremely hard to believe that this "mistake" was actually a mistake at all.

The more we find out about Epstein's mysterious death, the weirder things seem to get. On the same day that this breaking news report was released, photos showing former President Bill Clinton with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein's madam Ghislaine Maxwell on board Epstein's jet the "Lolita Express" were released by The Sun.

There was another image that was released which shows Clinton with his arm around Chauntae Davis who was Epstein's "sex slave."

“Other never-seen-before images show Clinton traveling on the infamous Boeing 727 jet while playing cards and chomping on a cigar,” The Sun said.

“It’s clear that Epstein was using this private jet and his wealth to get close to rich and powerful people,” Chauntae said to The Sun.

“Looking back at these images now it raises a lot of questions about why Bill Clinton was using the plane and what perhaps Jeffrey may have been trying to accomplish by having him around,” she added.

According to the outlet, Chauntae “categorically denied that any improper behavior occurred around Clinton and that he was a ‘complete gentleman’ the entire time.""

“President Clinton knows nothing about the terrible crimes Jeffrey Epstein plead guilty to in Florida some years ago, or those with which he has previously been charged in New York,” a statement from Clinton said around the time of Epstein's death. “In 2002 and 2003, President Clinton took a total of four trips on Jeffrey Epstein’s airplane: one to Europe, one to Asia, and two to Africa, which included stops in connection with the Clinton Foundation. Staff, supporters of the Foundation, and his Secret Service detail traveled on every leg or every trip.”

Clinton and Epstein's connection gets even weirder considering a report back in August explained that Epstein had a "sexual picture" of Clinton in his Manhattan home.

“The picture depicting the former president apparently lounging on a chair in the Oval Office, wearing red heels and posing suggestively in a blue dress redolent of Monica Lewinsky was in a room off the stairway of the Upper East Side townhouse,” The Daily Mail reported. “The painting was secretly snapped inside the pedophile’s lavish $56 million home in October 2012, four years after Epstein completed his sweetheart deal for prostitution of a minor and seven years before he was accused of running a sex trafficking ring of underage girls.”

The Daily Wire reports: “Epstein died by hanging in his jail cell back in August. He had just been transferred to a ‘special housing unit’ within the Metropolitan Detention Center in New York City in order to provide him with greater protection. At the time, he was facing dozens of sex trafficking charges stemming from years spent allegedly shuttling young women between several of his massive homes, so that he and his friends could use them for sex.”
