BREAKING: Twitter Censors President Donald Trump’s Call For Peace

Shortly after protesters stormed the Capitol building on Wednesday, President Donald Trump called for peace in a video released to Twitter.

“You have to go home now. We have to have peace. We have to have law and order. We have to respect our great people in law and order. We don’t want anybody hurt,” President Trump said.

Moments before this video, Kayleigh McEnany said that the national guard has been deployed:

“At President Trump’s direction, the National Guard is on the way along with other federal protective services. We reiterate President Trump’s call against violence and to remain peaceful”

The video calling for peace was almost immediately censored by Twitter who refused to allow it to be liked or retweeted. The video also had the notification, “This claim of election fraud is disputed, and this Tweet can’t be replied to, Retweeted, or liked due to risk of violence.”
