Like the Democratic party, CNN is using the unfortunate events that took place in the nation’s capital during a rally for election integrity to eliminate their competition.
In the case of the Democrats, an increasingly unhinged Nancy Pelosi and her minions including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have accused their Republican House colleagues of being an “enemy within” with growing calls for the expulsion of their opponents.
On a drastically more dangerous level, the so-called “storming” of the Capitol by Trump supporters along with Antifa provocateurs who were allowed into the building by police has served as the impetus for a terrifying new domestic terrorism law that some have described as the Patriot Act on steroids.
Just as Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and the Biden regime, the self-proclaimed “most trusted name in news” have exploited the protest that was allowed to get out of control to bully cable providers into canceling conservative alternatives.
Faced with growing criticism over their unscrupulous fascistic effort to have opposing voices silenced, hysterical CNN host Brian Stelter tried to rebut rival Fox News which has been informing viewers of the network’s un-American power grab.
CNN’s @brianstelter believes the way to combat misinformation is by limiting reach, which he called a “harm-reduction model.”

“And Tucker Carlson is telling viewers that this network, CNN, is trying to force Fox News off the air, which is patently false. It is predictable as the sunrise.
Democrats win elections and Republicans say they are being silenced. While some cry cancel culture, let me suggest a different way to think about this, a harm reduction model. Most people want clean air and blue skies and accurate news and rational news.
In that healthy environment that looks beautiful, then we can have fights about taxes and regulation and health care and all the rest.
Disinformation about, let’s say, the pandemic is unhealthy. It’s harmful. How can that harm be reduced? Big tech platforms say they are removing lies about vaccines and stamping out stop the steel B.S. And Qanon content.
Do these private companies have too much power? Many people would say sure. But reducing a liar’s reach is not the same as censors freedom of speech. Freedom of speech is different than freedom of reach.
But Stelter is being grossly dishonest, at least according to such an authoritative source as CNN. The network’s chief cancel culture headhunter Oliver Darcy recently tweeted a call to action to pressure cable/internet providers Verizon, AT&T, and Comcast to drop OAN and Newsmax from their packages.
Just a reminder that neither @Verizon, @ATT, nor @comcast have answered any questions about why they beam channels like OAN & Newsmax into millions of homes. Do they have any second thoughts about distributing these channels given their election denialism content? They won't say.

CNN also featured the former head of security at social media giant Facebook who called for cable providers to pull the plug on their competition and it was on Stelter’s own show.
Former Facebook insider Alex Stamos tells @brianstelter: "We have to turn down the capability of these Conservative influencers to reach these huge audiences… There are people on YouTube for example that have a larger audience than daytime CNN." pic.twitter.com/gP0XtnjhCQ

Via The Washington Examiner:
The former chief security officer of Facebook suggested conservative news outlets One America News and Newsmax be deplatformed following the siege of the Capitol and the proliferation of “radical views” online.
“We have to turn down the capability of these conservative influencers to reach these huge audiences. There are people on YouTube, for example, that have a larger audience than daytime CNN, and they are extremely radical and pushing extremely radical views,” Alex Stamos said Sunday on CNN’s Reliable Sources.
“And, so, it is up to the Facebooks and YouTubes, in particular, to think about whether or not they want to be effectively cable networks for disinformation. And then we’re gonna have to figure out the OANN and Newsmax problem that these companies have freedom of speech, but I’m not sure we need Verizon, AT&T, Comcast, and such to be bringing them into tens of millions of homes,” he continued.
Let’s face it, without Trump to kick around anymore, CNN faces a return to the wasteland of reporting on tawdry celebrity gossip, sleazy sex scandals, missing teenagers, and milking natural disasters for ratings. By dishonestly exploiting the Capitol chaos to corner the market, they are utilizing the Rahm Emanuel maxim of never letting a good crisis “go to waste.”
Stelter is flat-out lying about CNN not going after its competitors and the proof is there for everyone to see.
