For the past few years, legitimate news outlets and investigative reporters, as well as Republicans in Congress, have unearthed ties between Hunter Biden and foreign governments including China.
In October 2019, for instance, investigative author Peter Schweizer, writing in the New York Post, revealed “6 facts” about the son of President-elect Joe Biden’s business dealings with Chinese firms.
The ties include meetings and other interactions with then-Vice President Biden.
A year later, the Post revealed in a separate report that Hunter Biden still owns a 10 percent stake in a Chinese company that has ties to China’s Communist Party rulers.
Now, we don’t know what, if any, actual financial ties Joe Biden has to Chinese firms, but the relationships between China companies and his son are well-established. And problematic – because they open up the president-elect to all kinds of opportunities to be ‘unduly influenced’ by Beijing, so to speak.
And what’s more, Joe Biden appears to be doing all he can to facilitate that influence: He is adding China allies to his administration like that’s his primary job, including someone who once praised China’s murder-in-chief, Mao Zedong, as a ‘great philosopher.’
The Washington Free Beacon has the details:
President-elect Joe Biden will tap Anita Dunn, an Obama-administration alumna who praised Chinese communist leader Mao Zedong’s political philosophy, for senior White House adviser, Axios reported Friday.
Dunn’s last stint in the White House ended after just seven months, when she resigned after former Fox News anchor Glenn Beck aired a clip of the then-communications director saying Mao was one of her “favorite political philosophers.” …
“The third lesson and tip actually come [sic] from two of my favorite political philosophers: Mao Zedong and Mother Teresa,” Dunn said during a June 2009 commencement address at St. Andrew’s Episcopal High School in Washington, D.C. “[They’re] not often coupled with each other, but the two people that I turn to most to basically deliver a simple point, which is, you’re going to make choices…. You’re going to figure out how to do things that have never been done before.”
Mao’s communist takeover of China led to the deaths of an estimated 45 million people.
And for the record, no — the left-wing Axios did not mention Dunn’s love for Mao.
In a second report, the Washington Free Beacon noted:
Joe Biden’s pick for a top Pentagon post works at a research center partnered with China’s Peking University, a school that has long been eyed as a security risk by western intelligence.
Colin Kahl, whom Biden tapped for undersecretary of defense for policy, has served as a senior fellow at the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies at Stanford University since the beginning of 2018. The institute oversees the Stanford Center at Peking University in northern Beijing, which opened in 2012.
Since the Obama regime, the U.S. military and intelligence communities have been warning that China is our greatest threat, bar none. But by all means, let’s invite Beijing into the White House.
