Chuck Todd Compares Bernie Supporters to 'Brownshirts' Then Gets Savaged

The Democrat establishment and their media puppets are gripped by panic that Bernie Sanders will win the party's nomination this summer and are finally starting to speak out against the radicals.
Commanding a loyal army of young socialists and old hippies, the 78-year-old senator from Vermont continues to preach the gospel of revolution which terrifies the real Democrat base of wealthy donors.
The latest to break ranks is NBC's Chuck Todd who enraged Bernie's Twitter hate mob that terrorizes critics with their brownshirt style bullying by quoting from an article accusing them of being digital brownshirts.
According to Todd who read from the article from the Never Trump website The Bulwark:
‘No other candidate has anything like this sort of digital brownshirt brigade."
MSNBC anchor Chuck Todd is facing backlash on Monday night for suggesting that supporters for Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., are part of a "digital brown shirt brigade."
During a panel discussion on Sanders' surge ahead of the New Hampshire primary, Todd cited a column critical of Sanders' online support.
"I want to bring up something that Jonathan Last put in The Bulwark today," Todd began. "Here's what he says, 'No other candidate has anything like this digital brown shirt brigade. I mean, except for Donald Trump. The question that no one is asking is this; what if you can't win the presidency without an online mob? What if we now live in a world having a bullying, agro-social media running around, hobbling everyone who sticks their head up is either an important ingredient for or a critical marker of success?'"
He continued, "I know that everybody's freaking out about this, but you saw the MAGA rally that's preparing around here. There are people coming from three or four states on that. That's real -- and this is like Bernie."
No sooner had the words left Todd's lips that the Bernie Bros took flew into action on Twitter as if to prove his point.
The hashtag #FireChuckTodd was trending and the host of NBC's flagship Meet The Press was savaged by Sanders' devoted cult-like following.
The far-left has cherished their Nazi analogies during the Trump era but clearly don't like it when
Wikipedia describes the Brownshirts as:
The Sturmabteilung, literally Storm Detachment, was the Nazi Party's original paramilitary wing. It played a significant role in Adolf Hitler's rise to power in the 1920s and 1930s. Its primary purposes were providing protection for Nazi rallies and assemblies, disrupting the meetings of opposing parties, fighting against the paramilitary units of the opposing parties, especially the Red Front Fighters League (Rotfrontkämpferbund) of the Communist Party of Germany (KPD), and intimidating Romani, trade unionists, and, especially, Jews – for instance, during the 1933 Nazi boycott of Jewish businesses.
The SA were also called the "Brownshirts" (Braunhemden), from the color of their uniform shirts, similar to Benito Mussolini's blackshirts.
Any resemblance to ANTIFA and Sanders supporters who have embraced thuggery whether it be online or in the streets as a political tactic is surely just a coincidence.
