In an effort to consolidate one-party rule, a Senate Democrat is proposing an idea so that is so extreme that if it is widely embraced it will forever change the nature of representative democracy.
For the last five days, Democrats have shown their true authoritarian faces by exploiting the brief occupation of the Capitol by Trump supporters mixed with Antifa provocateurs as an excuse to silence and their political opposition.
With the incoming Biden regime, the war on terror will be revamped as a domestic war on dissent and the federal government will become fully weaponized by a rogue political party that is drunk with power.
The war on dissent has already manifested itself in the halls of Congress with the demand for Republican senators Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz to resign or face expulsion.
This dangerously un-American attack on democracy comes from Dem Senator Sherrod Brown of Ohio who on Sunday demanded that the two GOP members who dared to challenge the results of an illegitimate election immediately tender their resignations or else.
Via Cleveland.com, “Sen. Sherrod Brown calls on Hawley, Cruz to resign or be expelled”:
Sen. Sherrod Brown accused Republican Sens. Josh Hawley of Missouri and Ted Cruz of Texas of abetting insurrection, calling for their resignation and – if they do not step down – their expulsion from the U.S. Senate.
A day earlier, The Lincoln Project accused Hawley of sedition. The Lincoln Project is a Republican political action committee that actively opposed President Trump’s bid for the White House.
The rare call for the political cardinal sin of sedition stems to their opposition of this week’s election-vote certification and subsequent storming of the Capitol by pro-Trump forces. Five people died. Hawley was seen giving a fist bump to protesters outside the Capitol.
Hawley, 41, is the youngest member of the Senate. He served as attorney general in Missouri before being elected in 2018.
Cruz, who has served in the Senate since being elected in 2012,
The idea that Democrats could disenfranchise millions of voters in two critical swing states by throwing out their Senate representatives is something normally seen in third world countries and unprecedented in this great nation.
Like Rahm Emanuel so famously put it: never let a really good crisis go “to waste” and the Democrats have seized the moment to crush their adversaries.
