Dishonest Political Hack Chuck Todd Delivers Lame Apology For Manipulated Video

Controversy over a manipulated video excerpt of Attorney General William Barr has led to NBC's Chuck Todd personally apologizing after being caught red-handed for pushing propaganda.
On Sunday's edition of the network's flagship "news" show "Meet The Press" the activist host participated in a smear campaign against the nation's top law enforcement official after the DOJ dropped the case against Gen. Michael Flynn.
During a panel discussion, Todd rolled the video of Barr's interview with CBS that was sliced and diced in order to portray the attorney general in the most negative light.
What Todd didn't count on was a swift rebuke from the Justice Department as Director Of Communications & Public Affair Kerri Kupec who called out the distortion of Barr's words which led to an admission and semi-apology from NBC.
Following a firestorm of criticism over Todd's blatant manipulation of the interview clip, the host himself was forced to apologize although it was as insincere as Rep. Ilhan Omar's fake contrition for her anti-Semitic comments.
Via The Hill, "Chuck Todd apologizes for airing edited William Barr clip":
NBC "Meet the Press" host Chuck Todd apologized on Tuesday for airing a clip Sunday of Attorney General William Barr's interview with CBS reporter Catherine Herridge, which Todd acknowledged was misleading because of an edit that took Barr's remarks out of context.
Todd and "Meet the Press" had come under heavy criticism for airing the clip, which made it appear that Barr had decided to drop charges against former national security adviser Michael Flynn for political reasons.
After the clip from the May 7 CBS interview aired, Todd said that Barr "didn't make the case that he was upholding the rule of law. He was almost admitting that, yeah, this is a political job."
On Tuesday, Todd said that while NBC was not responsible for the editing of the clip, "Meet the Press" should have checked for a full transcript.
He called it a "mistake I wish we hadn’t made and that I hadn’t made."
He said Barr's full answer would have put in context the portion of the interview that "Meet the Press" did air.
"Had I seen that part, I would not have framed the conversation the way I did," he said. "And I am obviously very sorry for that mistake, and we strive to do better going forward.”
Todd's lame apology came after President Trump called for NBC parent company Comcast aka "Concast" to fire him which the leader of the free world tweeted on Sunday night.
The POTUS included the FCC as well as FCC chairman Ajit Pai in the tweet which went viral and seems to have rattled the suits at the network.
"Sleepy Eyes Chuck Todd should be FIRED by “Concast” (NBC) for this fraud. He knew exactly what he was doing. Public Airwaves = Fake News! @AjitPaiFCC @FCC"
Will Todd think twice the next time after his stunt backfired and blew up in his smug face?
Highly unlikely because as the old saying goes "a leopard can't change it's spots" and the Democrat activist who is falsely presented as a legitimate journalist is what he is and that is a walking, talking example of how the media has become the enemy of the truth.
