Last week, 29-year old Chicago police officer Ella French was shot and killed while conducting a traffic stop over the weekend. The tragic death comes as tensions between Democrat leaders and police officers are at an all time high.
When an officer is killed in the line of duty, it is standard procedure to pay tribute to the officer with an honor guard marching to the sound of bagpipes.
According to Deputy Police Superintendent Eric Carter however, he doesn’t have time “for that sh*t.” Instead of giving French a proper goodbye, Carter sent French’s body straight to the Medical Examiner’s office to be laid to rest without the traditional ceremony.
“We don’t have 20 minutes for this s–t, we’re not waiting on the bagpipes. Go ahead and get the vehicle inside. Take it all the way inside. Do not stop!” Carter said over the police scanner as he refused to respect the fallen officer.
Loathsome Mayor Lori Lightfoot Supports Decision to CANCEL Bagpipes and Honor Guard for Slain Chicago Police Officer Ella French
CPD Deputy Superintendent made the call: said we don't have time "for that sh-t"

During a press conference on Thursday, Democrat Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfood barked at reporters after they asked about Carter’s disgusting comments. The mayor even had the audacity to back Carter, saying he “made the right call” by refusing to give French a proper goodbye.
Lightfoot blamed the decision on COVID.
“The reporting on that is just not true. It’s not true. With Covid protocols, the coroner has made a lot of new restrictions on what can and can not happen at the morgue is my understanding,” she raged.
“Eric Carter made the right call, I support what he did and I’m horrified that in this moment people are trying to savage him for whatever agenda or purpose.”
This is a flat out lie.
The COVID excuse is completely pathetic considering Lightfoot herself gave the go-ahead for Lollapalooza just a couple of weeks ago where over 385,000 people attended.
The Cook County medical examiners office even announced in a statement that the procession rules have not changed since the start of the pandemic, meaning Lightfoot is a total liar.
“Protocols for processions at the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office have not changed since the pandemic began. First responders have always gathered in the parking lot and dock to pay respects to fallen police officers and firefighters,” they said in a statement.
“Early Sunday morning, police officers gathered in the parking and dock area as usual and bagpipers accompanied the body of Officer Ella French through the parking lot to the dock. At no time did personnel from the Medical Examiner’s Office try to impede officers or bagpipers.”
