Some stories make me sad. Some make me mad. Sometimes I just write about dumb stuff because it makes me laugh. Nothing wrong with that, right? The way this country is going, if you can’t laugh occasionally you might go crazy. Or even worse, to infinity and beyond.

Since I dropped that shameless hint, lets go ahead and see what I am talking about.

Per Outkick:

Disney will not feature Tim Allen as the voice of Buzz Lightyear in the upcoming Toy Story spinoff film.

Actress Patricia Heaton criticized Disney for the decision on Tuesday.

“Saw the trailer for Buzz Lightyear and all I can say is Disney/Pixar made a HUGE mistake in not casting my pal Tim Allen in the role that he originated, the role that he owns,” Heaton tweeted.

“Tim IS Buzz! Why would they completely castrate this iconic, beloved character?”

Why would Tim Allen be left out of a move that he was so instrumental in making famous? Literally every kid 30 and under knows Buzz Lightyear and the voice.

From toys, animated shorts, and maybe one too many Toy Story movie, everyone rightfully associates Allen with Buzz Lightyear.

Allen has long been a family favorite. Since the early 90’s when he made Tim “Tool Man” Taylor famous on “Home Improvement”, through all of the beloved “Santa Clause” movies. There’s always “Wild Hogs”. We’ll pretend that never happened.

Here is why: According to various reports, Disney did not want to cast Allen because he has conservative beliefs.

Disney has been punishing talents for having conservative views for years. Political beliefs are primary factors in the hiring process for Disney properties like ESPN and Star Wars. Shout out to former Disney employee Gina Carano.

The woke have especially hated Allen since last year when he said he “kind of liked” how Donald Trump “pissed people off.”

If this is true, it is an inexcusable move by a woke corporation that has to be made accountable at the box office.

Disney, however is pushing back, claiming they hired ultra lefty Chris Evans to voice Buzz because it is an “origin story”.

Not everyone is convinced.

However, Heaton doesn’t seem convinced, taking to Twitter to pen a follow-up post, in which she stated: “OK, so the current Buzz Lightyear movie is an origin story — but the reason the character became so beloved is because of what [Tim Allen] created. Why remove the one element that makes us want to see it?”

Some of Heaton’s fans replied, claiming Allen was getting snubbed because of his conservative views.

“Disney makes ALL decisions with political implications in mind,” one skeptical commenter wrote. “Tim Allen is conservative so no longer suitable for hire in a Disney production. Stop with the ‘this is not the toy’ or other spin. You know and I know why Allen didn’t voice Buzz.”

Here are a couple things we DO know about Disney. They HATE conservatives and conservative values. They also are VERY willing to lie.

With both of those facts in mind, Disney needs to feel this mistake at the box office. Hard.

There plenty of other options for our entertainment dollar this summer. May I suggest Top Gun: Maverick? Let’s indoctrinate our kids the right way, into being patriotic, not America hating lefties like Disney.
