Fox News host Sean Hannity had quite a moment on Tuesday night while discussing Joe Biden’s mental state.
During a segment on his program, Hannity joked that he would no longer call Biden “sippy cup” anymore because things have gotten to a point where it’s not funny anymore.
Hannity was suggesting that it’s obvious to many that Biden’s mental decline is a serious issue.
Below is a transcript of the exchange, via Grabien:
HANNITY: “Let me take this question in another direction. In 57% of the American people in this Trafalgar poll — Robert Cahaly is a great pollster — if the 57 percent don’t think he’s in charge, and then you add to the equation that social media is not showing the video clips that we just showed and that we’ve been showing, I would argue that the number would be dramatically higher, except you have Big Tech and the media mob not showing their audiences what’s really going on and the struggles he’s really having. They are protecting him.”
Nunes: “No, that is exactly right. And that’s why I keep bringing the attention to the American people to how Big Tech is really the biggest danger to our democracy right now. It’s not only the media, but it’s also coupled with Big Tech. And a lot of people think Republicans will have a great year next year, and I think we are, we’re recruiting candidates across the country, we’re doing a great job, we’re getting phenomenal people standing up to run like Dr. Jackson did in the last Congress, the last campaign, but you’re right, I think if the social companies weren’t covering up Biden tripping going up Air Force One, the whispering thing he did a couple weeks ago — “

HANNITY: “Oh, congressman, be fair. You are being unfair. The wind blew him over not once, not twice, three times. That’s what they said. It was a very windy day.”
Nunes: “Yeah. But then also explain the strange whispering thing. If Donald Trump or I did that, or if you did that, we would be mocked from now until the end of time. It would be like the old misspelling of potato with Vice President Dan Quayle. It would never end.”
HANNITY: “(whispering) What do you mean by that? Yeah, very strange indeed. And I’m serious, I’m not going to call him Sippy Cup anymore. Honestly, I’m very worried. This is not a joke anymore. Congressman Jackson, thank you. Congressman Devin Nunes, thank you.”
A new poll confirms what many Americans already believe: Joe Biden is not calling the shots in the White House.
According to the poll from The Trafalgar Group, a majority of Americans believe that “others” are running the show in the White House and not Biden himself.
Below are some of the main takeaways from the poll:
- 56.5% of American voters do not believe that President Biden is fully executing the duties of his office, while 36.4% believe he is directing all policy and agenda.
- 31.7% of Democrat voters do not believe that President Biden is fully executing the duties of his office, while 58.6% believe he is directing all policy and agenda.
- 83.6% of Republican voters do not believe that President Biden is fully executing the duties of his office, while 11% believe he is directing all policy and agenda.
- 58.4% of Independent voters do not believe that President Biden is fully executing the duties of his office, while 36.1% believe he is directing all policy and agenda.
The poll is undoubtedly bad news for Biden.
