Though President Biden acts like the border zone isn’t an utter disaster, many Americans, particularly those on the right, contend that just the opposite is the case.
\Pointing to the millions of illegal immigrants that have crossed under Biden’s watch, the horrific flood of fentanyl drowning America’s cities that has flowed up from Mexico, and the videos that show border crossing areas being swarmed migrants, they contend that whatever Biden is doing isn’t working, if he’s doing anything at all.
In fact, things have gotten so bad that even the mainstream media is starting to call out Biden for what is going on, with ABC National Correspondent Mireya Villarreal recently broadcasting from El Paso and, showing the town overrun with illegal immigrants, many of whom are sleeping in the streets, said:
“But in El Paso, TX, it’s clear that process isn’t working, Border Patrol agents apprehending nearly 1,300 people a day in this area. El Paso is now chartering their own buses to help migrants head north. … Volunteers make sure these families know where they’re going.”
Adding to that and describing the consequences of the human tidal wave that has swamped El Paso to the detriment of all involved, Villarreal said:
“And as you’ve seen, on top of the people we’re bringing in, there [are] over 1,000 releases to our community a day.”

“And when the shelters in town fill up, some families have no other choice but to sleep on a city sidewalk near the bus station.”
But while Biden appears to be not dealing with the situation, one governor has been drawing attention to the illegal immigration situation in a very high-profile way. That would be Florida governor Ron DeSantis, who recently sent 50 illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard, a playground of the leftist elite.
Defending the move and saying that Florida is taking illegal immigration seriously while those who pretend to be for it until the problem comes to them are frauds, DeSantis said:
“We take what is happening at the southern border very seriously, unlike some, and unlike the President of the United States, who has refused to lift a finger to secure that border… you’ve had millions and millions of people pouring across illegally; record amount of fentanyl coming into our country; it is absolutely killing Americans in record numbers; of course you have criminal aliens,” DeSantis said during a press conference.
“I would just note: Biden would fly people in the middle of the night, dump them all across this country; there was no warning on any of this. They’re doing it and they’re farming people out all around… and all of those people in D.C. and New York were beating their chests when Trump was president, saying they were so proud to be sanctuary jurisdictions, saying how bad it was to have a secure border…the minute even a small fraction of what those border towns deal with every day is brought to their front door, they all of a sudden go berserk and they’re so upset that this is happening. It just shows you their virtue-signaling is a fraud. What would be the best is for Biden to do his damn job and secure the border.”
So while it is unlikely that DeSantis and Villarreal would agree on much, it appears that they would appear to agree on the idea that Biden needs to do his job.
