Biden got very upset when Ed Gordon, a moderator from the NAACP claimed during a panel discussion that some “younger people are concerned” about the candidate’s positions on policing.

Gordon kicked a segment off by mentioning that he had received emails from several people concerned about Biden’s roll in writing the 1994 crime bill.

When Gordon said people told him they worried that Biden “wouldn’t be able to steer” his way past “traditional policing” and that he favors more of a “hard line” strategy, Biden began to lose it.

“What do you tell them?” Gordon asked.

“I tell them it’s not accurate,” Biden responded.

“If you said that they were wrong in thinking that, that is their feeling, so give them a sense—” Gordon began before Biden interrupted him.

“No, there’s no evidence— No, that’s not true! Show me a poll that says that!” Biden shouted.

“I didn’t say any poll,” Gordon corrected Biden.

“No, you said they think!” Biden shouted.

“I said to you— Mr. Vice President, you’re going to have to listen. I had an email from a couple of young people. I didn’t mention a poll,” Gordon charged.

“I said that was their concern,” Gordon continued.

“It’s a legitimate concern. They should be skeptical,” Biden said, changing his tone and backing down after getting very testy.

“But the idea that somehow— I’ve been told all along how young people don’t think that I’m in the right spot, the right place; there is no polling evidence to sustain that, nor is there voting evidence thus far to sustain that,” Biden said, before inviting people to look at his record.

“Show me. Watch me. I’m listening. Watch what I do,” he said.

WATCH:

Biden’s campaign recently hired Addisu Demissie to help his team focus on criminal justice reform, but the problem is that same adviser previously slammed Biden’s record on that very issue.

Biden literally hired someone who called him “the problem.”

The Daily Caller reported:

Both advisers previously worked on former President Barack Obama’s presidential campaigns, according to The New York Times. Demisse also worked on presidential campaigns for past Democratic nominees, including John Kerry and Hillary Clinton, and has been active in California politics throughout the past decade. Demissie also founded 50+1 Strategies, according to the company’s website.

The veteran Democratic strategist’s past criticism of Biden centers around criminal justice reform for the most part, especially over Biden’s support for the 1994 crime bill.

“That’s the problem,” Demissie tweeted in 2019 about Biden’s decades-long record on criminal justice reform.

Here’s the 2019 tweet:

But wait, it gets even better.

Back in March, Demissie took to Twitter to complain that the Democratic presidential primary came down to “two white men” — Biden and socialist Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

“It’s completely explainable that we are down to two white men to become our nominee. Democratic primary voters’ top priority is beating Donald Trump and, mostly subconsciously, I believe the gruesome reality of Trump’s America has put a fear in our hearts,” Demissie tweeted.

Biden’s own team members previously called him “the problem” on race issues in America.
