South Carolina GOP Sen. Lindsay Graham is calling for a “draft Trump” movement for 2024.
During an interview on Fox News with host Sean Hannity, Graham spoke about the conflict between Israel and Palestine as well as the border crisis since Joe Biden took office.
“I miss Donald Trump,” Graham said.
“I hope he’s considering running. Let’s start a draft Trump movement. He’s the one guy I think can go to the American people and say, Let me finish what I started. What I did worked,” Graham added.
“Joe Biden’s overwhelmed by the job of being president,” he said. “The left has lost its mind. There’s more fentanyl that crossed the border this time in 2021 than in all of 2020. Israel is under the gun — 3,500 rockets fired by Palestinian militants. Where is it coming from? Iran.”
“To the Biden administration, you would be insane to start negotiating with Iran as long as they’re still the largest state sponsor of terrorism. So I am very worried about our national security. I’m very worried about our border here at home. 2022’s gonna be a hell of an election,” Graham said.
“Israel provides more actual intelligence to the United States to keep us safe than probably any single country in the world. They’re a democracy. Hamas is a terrorist organization under our law,” Graham said.
“The Squad is with the terrorists. I’m with the democracy called Israel,” he added, referring to the “Squad,” which is comprised of Democrat Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley.
“I have never been more worried about where the Democratic Party is going regarding Israel than I am now. But this makes my blood boil,” the Republican added.
“Clearly, Hamas is not afraid of the Biden administration. Do you think Hamas would have shot 2,000 rockets on Trump’s watch?” Graham asked in response.
“They are siding with a terrorist organization over democracy,” Graham continued.
The “Squad” has gone all-out to defend Hamas terrorists and Palestine.
“Israeli air strikes killing civilians in Gaza is an act of terrorism. Palestinians deserve protection. Unlike Israel, missile defense programs, such as Iron Dome, don’t exist to protect Palestinian civilians,” Omar tweeted.

It’s unconscionable to not condemn these attacks on the week of Eid. https://t.co/vWWQfMqBkT

AOC did the same.
We stand in solidarity with the Palestinian residents of Sheikh Jarrah in East Jerusalem. Israeli forces are forcing families from their homes during Ramadan and inflicting violence.
It is inhumane and the US must show leadership in safeguarding the human rights of Palestinians.

Tlaib, who has even more extreme views than Omar about Israel, said last week that the U.S. should not give billions of dollars in military aid to Israel, because of its alleged “racism and dehumanization.”
I see some who were silent as Palestinians were ripped from their homes and tear gassed in their holiest mosques now finding their voices – to stand with the Israeli gov as airstrikes leave Palestinian children dead. Where are your voices when Palestinians are under threat?

Republicans, and supporters of Israel, have taken issue with the comments from the “Squad,” including Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz, who accused Omar of serving as “press secretary” for Hamas.
Why is a Member of Congress acting as the press secretary for Hamas?
Does Biden agree? https://t.co/kjZG1HO0RD

“Why is a Member of Congress acting as the press secretary for Hamas? Does Biden agree?” Cruz tweeted.
Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene went after the “Squad” on Tuesday over their preposterous tweets and comments.
Greene took to Twitter to refer to Democrats known as the “Squad” as the “Jihad Squad” and said they don’t belong in Congress due to their recent defense of Hamas.
“The Jihad Squad, @IlhanMN @RashidaTlaib @AOC doesn’t think Israel has the right to defend itself from terrorists Hamas when they fire rockets into Israel. They also support terrorists Antifa/BLM who attack Americans. Members who support terrorism don’t belong in Congress,” Greene tweeted.

The Squad has been widely criticized for slamming Israel’s response to rocket attacks from Hamas.
