Major Conservative Conference Tells Backstabber Romney That He's Not Welcome

There are few Republicans who emanate the stench of defeat quite like Mitt Romney and the pathetic former Massachusetts governor has added another big loss to his record.
Romney's latest failure was when he was unable to convince even two GOP senators to join him in voting with Democrats to call witnesses in the impeachment trial of President Trump.
In another of the futile and stupid gestures that he has become known for, Mitt could only entice fellow RINO Susan Collins to join him and in doing so, may have permanently rendered himself toxic to conservatives.
VOTE NOW: Do you OPPOSE or SUPPORT impeachment?
The early fallout from Romney's latest political catastrophe is the the prestigious CPAC annual gathering of conservatives has made it clear that he is not welcome there.
Via The Hill, "CPAC says Romney 'not invited' this year after vote at Trump trial":
Leaders of the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Friday night formally disinvited Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) from attending the event next month over his vote to approve additional witnesses in the Senate impeachment trial.
"The 'extreme conservative' and Junior Senator from the great state of Utah, @SenatorRomney is formally NOT invited to #CPAC2020,” tweeted Matt Schlapp, the head of the American Conservative Union, which puts on the annual GOP confab.
The conference, which is scheduled for the end of next month, is one of the largest conservative gatherings in the country that has emerged as a top meeting place for some of President Trump’s highest-profile supporters.
Among this year’s speakers are GOP personalities Diamond and Silk, Candace Owens and Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), who put up a strong defense of the president during the House’s impeachment investigation as the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee.
It was unclear if Romney planned to attend the event this year. The former Massachusetts governor addressed the conservative gathering in 2011 and when running for president in 2012. He returned the following year after his electoral defeat.

Per the group's official website, CPAC describes itself as:
The Conservative Political Action Conference is the largest and most influential gathering of conservatives in the world. Launched in 1974, CPAC brings together hundreds of conservative organizations, thousands of activists, millions of viewers and the best and brightest leaders in the world.
Over 19,000 people attended CPAC 2019, some of whom had not missed a single conference since Ronald Reagan gave the first CPAC keynote speech in 1974. Yet each CPAC is fresh and unique, with 60% of attendees experiencing the conference for the first time, half of whom are college aged and younger.
In an election year when the nation is under assault from a Democratic party that has come to resemble Stalin's government in the old Soviet Union as well as a Bernie Sanders led socialist insurgency, this year's conference should be a show of strength as well as a call to arms for the battle ahead.
It will also be a victory party for President Trump who barring any last minute surprises, will have dodged the diabolical impeachment trap laid out by the Deep State, the media and Romney's Democrat buddies.
And nobody wants a skunk at a party.
