The first full day of the new "woke" NFL season will take place on Sunday with teams throughout the league set to promote the divisive message of Black Lives Matter.
Players will wear the names of criminals on their helmets as a show of solidarity with the Marxist anti-police movement including Jacob Blake and George Floyd who despite a long history of criminality has achieved sainthood in America.
Floyd will be honored in the city where he had his fatal encounter with police and which has had large areas destroyed by riots in his name when the Minnesota Vikings make him the centerpiece of their pregame social justice extravaganza.
On Friday the team announced that while fans will not be allowed to attend Sunday's game against the hated division rival Green Bay Packers, that Floyd's family has been invited to participate in what will be a grotesque ritual prior to kickoff.
Via Fox News, "Vikings to honor family of George Floyd at season opener":
The Minnesota Vikings announced Friday that they will honor the memory of George Floyd by inviting his family to attend their season opener against the Green Bay Packers Sunday.
While fans will not attend because of the pandemic, the Vikings will host Floyd’s family and recognize them before the start of the game following the performance of “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” NFL.com reported, citing a team statement.
Floyd, 46, died May 25 while in the custody of Minneapolis police. His death sparked nationwide protests and calls for change.
In addition to honoring his family, Vikings players also will wear T-shirts during warmups that read “Be the Change” on the front. The back will feature names of 200 people killed by acts of racism or police brutality, NFL.com reported.
It is a perfect match for the new version of the NFL which has reinvented itself as a force that will partake in a messianic crusade to end racism and a city that is controlled by the most radical gaggle of far-left politicians east of Seattle.
Following the viral video of Floyd's fateful encounter with Minneapolis police that left out the important context that he was under the influence of drugs, acting strangely and resisting arrest, the city was ground zero for a nationwide explosion of violence, looting, and destruction unseen since the tumultuous 1960s.
Despite his criminal history and the fact that he once held a loaded gun to the stomach of a pregnant woman, Floyd has been treated like the second coming of Jesus Christ by many including the NFL which after the video came out, quickly took a knee and begged for forgiveness from the Kaepernick cult.
Fortunately for Commissioner Roger Goodell and the owners, there won't be any booing as there was during Thursday's nationally-televised season opener in Kansas City due to the prohibition of fans from being in the building.
However, such a display may not sit well with Vikings fans outside of socialist-occupied Minneapolis-St. Paul in a critical swing state that is already showing signs of going for President Trump.
Kickoff is at 1:00 pm Eastern Time
