Mitch McConnell Makes Huge Impeachment Promise In New Video

In a brand new campaign advertisement, Senate Leader Mitch McConnell dropped a bomb on the Democrats' impeachment plans by revealing that he would stop impeachment in the Senate.

The campaign ad which he is using to raise money for his reelection in 2020, announced that the only way to stop impeachment was "with me as majority leader." He also vowed to shoot down the impeachment inquiry in the House and told his viewers to donate to his reelection campaign "before the deadline."

"Nancy Pelosi is in the clutches of a left-wing mob," McConnell says in the ad. "They've finally convinced her to impeach the President. All of you know your Constitution. The way that impeachment stops is a Senate majority, with me as majority leader."

"But I need your help. Please contribute before the deadline," he adds.

Check out what the Daily Mail reported:

McConnell is running for reelection next year for his Senate seat in Kentucky, where Donald Trump earned 62.5 per cent of the vote in the 2016 presidential elections.
The Republican leader often drums up supporters by playing up his ties to Trump, who remains popular in Kentucky, and McConnell's campaign manager said the impeachment inquiring has fired up the senator's supporters even more.
'Few issues energize conservative voters like liberal overreach and the Democrats' latest outrageous attempt to impeach President Trump has activated our base to new heights,' Kevin Golden said in a statement Saturday night.
Even though McConnell is making it clear he will be a firewall against impeachment, he admitted recently that he would have no choice but to consider articles of impeachment if the House approved charges against Trump.
'It's a Senate rule related to impeachment, it would take 67 votes to change, so I would have no choice but to take it up,' McConnell told CNBC in regards to the Democratic-controlled House. 'How long you're on it is a whole different matter.'

The Republicans and Trump campaign have been cashing in big time since Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi announced her impeachment inquiry into President Trump.

Brad Parscale, President Trump's 2020 campaign manager trolled the 2020 Democratic candidates when he announced that the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee (RNC) raised more money in the 36 hours after Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi announced the impeachment inquiry than many of the Democratic candidates during the entire third quarter.

In just 36 hours, the Trump campaign along with the RNC raised $13 million. That is “significantly more than most of the Democrat presidential candidates are able to raise in a whole quarter,” Parscale said in an op-ed.

Check out what the Democratic candidates raised during the third quarter below:

While Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) reported a beefy $25.3 million in the third quarter, Sen. Elizabeth Warren raised $24.6 million, and Mayor Pete Buttigieg (D) reported $19.1 million, several candidates saw numbers relatively the same – or lower – than the Trump campaign and RNC’s three-day spike:
Joe Biden: $15.2 million
Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA): $11.6 million
Andrew Yang (D): $10 million
Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ): $6 million
Marianne Williamson (D): $3 million
Sen. Michael Bennet (D-CO): $2.1 million

“The sudden flood of donations to President Trump’s reelection effort provides undeniable evidence that this impeachment gambit represents a massive miscalculation,” Parscale added, saying that the impeachment effort is “already coming apart at the seams.”
