Morning Joe Scarborough Begs Biden Not To Do Any More Debates

Now that the first debate of 2020 between President Trump and Democrat Joe Biden is over the question is whether it will be the only one that takes place.
That is what MSNBC's "Morning" Joe Scarborough would really like and is he practically begging Biden to not do any more debates before the election.
On the morning after, establishment media is overwhelmingly declaring that the former vice president is the winner with lunchpail Joe being the beneficiary of outperforming very low expectations.
That he emerged from his basement and showed up at all is a major victory for the anti-Trump forces and the idea is already being put forth that the 77-year-old Biden should make it a one and done.
Scarborough who is a vicious and obsessive Trump hater took to Twitter to implore the Biden campaign to pull out of all future debates, citing unfairness despite the fact that Fox's Chris Wallace who served as the moderator tag-teamed the president on Tuesday.
Via The Hill, "Joe Scarborough urges Biden: 'Do not do anymore debates':
MSNBC's Joe Scarborough called on Joe Biden to "not do anymore debates," tweeting that the first showdown between the current president and the former vice president was "a disgrace."
Scarborough, a staunch critic of the president and former GOP congressman who left the Republican Party not long after Trump was elected, also said the president's microphone should have been cut off as he continually interrupted Biden.
"This is a colossal waste of the American people’s time. If they are not going to cut his mic so we can have an exchange of ideas, then Biden should not attend any more debates," the "Morning Joe" host tweeted to his more than 2.7 million followers.
"Hey Team Biden, if this continues you, pull him off the stage. And do not do anymore debates. This is a disgrace," he added.
Scarborough who managed to parlay a short career in politics into a longtime MSNBC gig and who is the answer to the trivia question of "which sitting congressman had a dead intern found in his office" is the poster boy for Trump Derangement Syndrome.
What Scarborough is really concerned about is that while Biden avoided a disastrous campaign-killing gaffe on national television, he may not be as lucky the next time around.
Morning Joe isn't the only one calling for Biden to refuse do debate Trump again either.
According to Newsweek:
Steve Schmidt, who worked on several Republican campaigns including the late Senator John McCain's 2008 presidential bid, also argued there should be no further debates.
"@JoeBiden is destroying @realDonaldTrump," Schmidt tweeted. "Trump is unhinged, sweating, angry and blustering. He is losing. He is falling apart. This debate is a disgrace. There should be no more. Let this be the closing argument."
Veteran conservative Bill Kristol published an op-ed in The Bulwark making the same argument. He is editor-at-large of the site and has been a strong critic of the president.
"There should be no more 'debates,'" Kristol wrote. "For the sake of the country, Joe Biden should refuse to appear again on the same stage as Donald Trump. Biden can have weekly or twice weekly town halls."
"But he should not put the nation through another ordeal like that," he said.
So far Team Biden has not announced that they would be pulling old Joe out of future debates but the pressure is on and the media will provide cover for him to do so and remain in his basement safe space until after the election.
