Nikki Haley Torches Dems Over Embrace Of 'Trendy' Socialism

Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley unloaded on the trendy socialism of the political left and urged Americans to fight to prevent its spread.

During a rousing speech delivered to an audience at the Hudson Institute, Haley ripped the failed system that has brought ruination to societies and vowed that America would never become a socialist country.

Now that one of the nation's two major political parties has become openly socialist and universities are churning out poorly educated young people who think that it's cool to be a commie, it is time to go on the offensive against those promoting socialism.

Speaking days after Democrat front-runner Bernie Sanders defended his praise of Cuban dictator Fidel Castro, Haley blasted "naive" Dems for their embrace of the poisonous ideology.

“Right now, the Democratic presidential front-runner is an avowed socialist named Bernie Sanders”

“Only in a prosperous country like America can people be so flippant about capitalism and so naive about socialism."

Former Trump administration ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley delivered a stinging rebuke of socialism on Wednesday during a speech at a prominent Washington, D.C., think tank.

"We must promise each other and future generations that America will never become a socialist country," Haley said during a speech at the Hudson Institute, where she lashed out at prominent Democrats who criticize American capitalism and are pushing for socialism across the country.

"Socialism is a total disaster, and as Americans, we must condemn it wherever it exists," Haley said. "That is why it is truly amazing to see how socialism has become trendy in parts of America. These days it seems like socialism is everywhere."

"It's in our colleges and universities. It's in Congress, where an up-and-coming congresswoman says, ‘Capitalism is irredeemable,'" Haley said in reference to progressive celebrity Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.). "It's at the highest levels of society and politics. Right now, the Democratic presidential frontrunner is an avowed socialist named Bernie Sanders. Only in a prosperous country like America can people be so flippant about capitalism and so naïve about socialism."

The ex-Trump administration official as well as the former governor of South Carolina has been mentioned as a potential 2024 Republican presidential candidate and could find herself best positioned to combat the cancer of socialism that has metastasized in the U.S.

Recent surveys have shown an alarming trend with gullible millennials who are eager to usher in socialism despite the long track record of its failure.

According to the Victims Of Communism Memorial Foundation

The Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation (VOC) today released its fourth Annual Report on US Attitudes Toward Socialism, Communism, and Collectivism.

This year’s study showed increased support for communism (36%) among Millennials compared to 2018. Opinions of capitalism took a steep decline from 2018 to 2019, with only one-in-two among Millennials (ages 23-38) and Generation Z (ages 16-22) having a favorable opinion of capitalism. Socialism’s favorability decreased markedly from 2018, among all generations except for Millennials and the Silent Generation (ages 74+).

“The historical amnesia about the dangers of communism and socialism is on full display in this year’s report," said Marion Smith, Executive Director of the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation. "When we don’t educate our youngest generations about the historical truth of 100 million victims murdered at the hands of communist regimes over the past century, we shouldn’t be surprised at their willingness to embrace Marxist ideas. We need to redouble our efforts to educate America’s youth about the history of communist regimes and the dangers of socialism today.”

This is the generation which is drawn to Comrade Bernie's siren song of free stuff and reparations through social justice like moths to light and unless educated properly, could eventually be the nation's downfall.
