A new poll reveals that not many believe Kamala Harris is ready for the biggest stage in politics.
According to a poll from the Convention of States Action and Trafalgar Group, 63.6 percent of voters do not think Harris is “ready” to be president.
It also found that 43 percent of Democrats do not believe Harris is ready to step into the presidential role should that ever become necessary.
“Our last poll found that most Americans don’t believe Joe Biden is actually running the country, and today we’re learning voters think Kamala Harris’ tenure as Vice President has been a disaster, and she’s absolutely not ready to step in and take his place,” Mark Meckler, president of the political action organization said of the poll.
“Washington, D.C., has never been more radically out of step with the will of the American people than right now,” he added.
Breitbart summarized other major findings from the poll:
"*" indicates required fields
–31.6 percent of American voters are somewhat confident or very confident Kamala Harris is ready to be President, based on her performance as Vice President.
–88.4 percent of Republican voters are not very confident or not confident at all Kamala Harris is ready to be President, based on her performance as Vice President.
Among many other things, Harris has been steadily slammed for her continued “failure” and refusal to visit the crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border.
Harris has a lower approval rating than former Vice President Mike Pence in their respective first 100 days in office.
When a Fox News poll asked respondents whether they have a generally favorable or unfavorable opinion of the first female Vice President, Harris received a 49 percent approval rating.
As noted by Breitbart, Pence in April 2017 had a 50 percent approval rating.
Despite being one of the first serious contenders to drop out of the Democrat primary before being tapped for vice president, Harris was tasked by President Joe Biden with handling the southern border crisis, an issue upon which, according to the Fox News poll, the president has a weighty 34 percent approval rating.
But that’s not the only poll that’s bad for Harris.
A new poll reveals that Donald Trump would defeat Harris in a hypothetical 2024 presidential election.
According to a new McLaughlin & Associates survey, three-quarters of Republicans want Trump to run for president again.
A whopping 83% of the GOP would vote for him in the 2024 general election.
In a head-to-head race against Harris, the poll found that Trump would win by 4 points.
The survey also found that no one would come close to challenging Trump in the Republican Party primary.
In a potential primary, Trump leads with 57%, followed by Mike Pence at 10%, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis at 8%, and former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley at 5%.
The pollsters, who also did work for Trump in 2016 and 2020, noted that support for Trump is growing.
“Boom, boom!!” they wrote in the analysis.
“All the relentless attacks against President Trump have backfired and will continue to backfire. No wonder the Democrats have moved on from impeachment to hoping for new phony indictments. They must have the same numbers in their polls. The voters want results, but not the kind that they are getting from [President Joe] Biden and Harris,” added brothers John McLaughlin and Jim McLaughlin.
