It’s getting to the point where if you are a supporter of President Donald Trump or any Republican other than Mitt Romney, the intolerant Leftists who practically own every institution of higher learning are going to target you.
The latest example of this political terrorism comes from the Joe Stalin wannabes at Marquette University, which is a Catholic Jesuit private institution. There, school administrative staff appear to have threatened incoming Samantha Pfefferle over a TikTok post in which she is openly supporting the president.
The College Fix reports:
Soon to be Marquette University freshman Samantha Pfefferle has yet to even step foot on campus, yet she said she is already facing possible dismissal from the school.
The video is titled, “When the libs find their way to your page,” and features captions “When people see that I support Trump,” “Then try to hate on me,” and “And think I’ll change my views,” over a video of the prospective student dancing.
The video shows a Trump 2020 flag hanging in the window of a home and a homemade sign attached to the side of the home under the flag that says, “Marquette University 2024.”
Cut the outrage.
In an interview with the campus-centric news site, Pfefferle said the treatment she has received from her peers “has been repulsive,” but the treatment she’s allegedly getting from Brian Troyer, dean of undergrad admissions at Marquette, is every bit as bad. And pathetic.
She says he told her that in actuality, her acceptance at the university wasn’t a foregone conclusion yet.
Oh, really? Pfefferle responds.
“[He] had the heart to tell me I wasn’t a student,” Pfefferle said. “This means that my classification is still in limbo and is currently being decided by the administration. I have been accepted, I paid for my housing, I have my roommates, I even have a complete class schedule. If that doesn’t make me a student, what does?”
A great question.
She then said the little Stalinists asked a series of questions meant to judge (question?) her (Leftist) morals.
“They also asked me hypothetical questions regarding Dreamers,” she said. “How would I respond if a Dreamer who lived down the hall from me came up to me and told me she didn’t feel safe or comfortable with my views and me being on campus. They also asked me if they thought there was anything I could do to improve my image on campus. They proceeded to ask if I was comfortable with the reputation I have established for myself. The assistant dean asked if I put any thought into the response I would be getting from my videos.”
So – were similar questions asked of obvious Black Lives Matter or Joe Biden supporters? And if not, why not?
The Stalinists at Marquette admissions are in good company. The College Fix reports further that current Marquette students are aligning against the incoming freshmen too.
So much for ‘academic’ tolerance of opposing views from the ‘good Catholics’ at Marquette.
