Is Utah GOP Sen. Mitt Romney gearing up to run against President Donald Trump in the 2020 Republican primary?
One America News reporter Jack Posobiec took to Twitter recently and reported that Romney is quietly making moves behind the scenes to test the waters.

Romney, who lost badly to former President Barack Obama in the 2012 presidential election, is reportedly calling potential donors to see if they would support him if he were to primary Trump.

Romney has been attacking Trump a lot lately and even sided with Democrats in their attacks on the president over his phone call with the Ukrainian president back in July.
“By all appearances. The President’s brazen and unprecedented appeal to China and to Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden is wrong and appalling,” Romney said.
“When the only American citizen President Trump singles out for China’s investigation is his political opponent in the midst of the Democratic nomination process, it strains credulity to suggest that it is anything other than politically motivated,” he added.
Romney has gleefully joined his Democratic allies and acted as if Trump committed treason over his phone call with Ukrainian President Zelensky over the summer.
On the call, Trump said he and Zelensky were discussing combating corruption.
So, naturally, Trump suggested that Ukraine investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, over their shady business dealings with a Ukrainian gas company.
Soon after the call, a so-called whistleblower filed a complaint. However, it has been revealed that the leaker did not even hear the phone call between Trump and the Ukrainian president.
So this leaker filed a complaint about a call that they never heard, and Democrats are demanding Trump be removed from office over a call that they also never heard.
URGENT POLL: Do you support Trump against Dem impeachment efforts?
But more importantly, if Romney were to mount another presidential run, he would not receive any support from Republican groups or entities. They are all 100 percent behind Trump and supporting his re-election campaign.
This is likely just another desperate attempt by Romney for attention and to remain relevant.
