Conservative talk radio show host Rush Limbaugh dropped a major 2020 warning about Fox News, and it has created quite a conversation.
During his radio program last Friday, Limbaugh warned his 15 million listeners to lower their expectations about Fox News and its analysis.
The once staunchly conservative network, Rush warned, is going to keep shifting towards the political Left to appease the “radicals” and “big wigs” that help them financially.
“I can’t tell you the number of people who are complaining to me about Fox and their analysis here. And, folks, all I can tell you is there’s nothing new about that,” Limbaugh said.
He also recommended his listeners change their perspective on Fox News and lower their expectations that had been created about the media.
“I’d lower my expectations if I were you. If you’re expecting what Fox used to be, you need to shift your perspective,” said Limbaugh.
Rush then shifted the conversation into how Fox News is helping push the bogus claims from Democrats that President Donald Trump should be impeached from office over his July 25 call with the Ukrainian president.
Limbaugh said it’s nothing more than a group of Deep-State “career diplomats” who cannot stand the president directing foreign policy by himself.
“Really all we have here is a lot of career people who think they do foreign policy. And Trump has overcome them. He’s doing foreign policy without them,” he said.
Limbaugh said Fox is allowing its hosts and analysts to criticize the president as strongly as many have because they want to “appear neutral.”
He also suggest that Fox News is trying to position itself for “life after Trump” and that they could be trying to shift into a “neutral” network rather than a conservative-leaning one.
Fox News has been under fire for the past few months, with longtime, loyal viewers slamming the network for becoming more liberal.
