Now that they control the entire federal government, Democrats are determined to make dramatic changes to the system that will ensure that they never lose power again. One of their objectives is to pack the courts.
Following years of wailing about now-former President Donald J. Trump’s appointments of conservative judges who honor the Constitution, Democrats now see an opportunity to nullify the confirmations by expanding courts which will then be stocked with radical leftists.
Senate Majority Chuck Schumer admitted this nefarious scheme during an appearance on MSNBC where he chatted with conspiracy queen Rachel Maddow about expanding the nation’s district and circuit courts by creating seats for activist judges.

Via Breitbart News, “Schumer: We Can ‘Expand’ District, Circuit Courts to Balance out GOP Judges”:
During an interview aired on Monday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Rachel Maddow Show,” Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said that one way Democrats can make up for the large amount of judges that were confirmed by the Senate Republican majority would be for Democrats to add seats at the district and circuit court levels.
Host Rachel Maddow asked, “For decades, there will be — essentially, the judiciary will be stacked with conservatives. How do you try to make up some of that ground?”
Schumer first responded that Democrats can fill judicial vacancies with 51 votes.
He continued, “Second, traditionally, we have increased the number in the lower and circuit courts. I have in the city of Buffalo a huge — they don’t have enough judges. There’s this long line before you can get to court. Because they don’t have enough. So, we could expand those, relative –.”
After Maddow cut in to ask if Schumer was referring to both district and circuit courts, Schumer responded that he was.
The New York Democrat stopped short of committing to expanding the Supreme Court, the crown jewel of the progressive agenda which if they are able to pull off, will be the final nail in America’s coffin.
But Schumer and the Democrats’ plans to steamroll shell-shocked Republicans may have hit a speed bump after two Dem senators came out on Monday against the elimination of the filibuster, a serious blow to the left’s hope to radically transform the nation’s institutions in the early days of the Biden regime.
West Virginia’s Joe Manchin and Arizona’s Krysten Sinema both came out on Monday as being opposed to such a radical change.

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) said Monday that he won’t vote to kill the filibuster “under any condition,” drawing a hard line against mounting pressure from progressives.
Manchin, speaking to reporters in the Capitol, reiterated that he does not support going “nuclear” to gut the 60-vote legislative filibuster and indicated that there was no timeline where, if Republicans blocked legislation, he would change his mind.
“I do not support doing away with the filibuster under any condition. It’s not who I am,” Manchin said.
The opposition to Schumer invoking the “nuclear option” by nuking the filibuster threatens any ideas of packing the courts along with D.C. and Puerto Rico statehood, the Green New Deal, and other objectives of those who hate us for our freedom.
By stalling the left’s extreme agenda there is some hope that voter disgust will lead to Schumer and the Dems being back in the minority as soon as 2022.
