Sen. Lindsey Graham says President Joe Biden “should be impeached” for his contemptible conduct abandoning Americans at the hands of terrorists in Afghanistan.
In an interview on Newsmax, Senator Graham was much more forceful than in recent days by openly calling for Biden’s impeachment.
“A lot of people throwing around the ‘impeachment’ word with the president right now, what do you make of that?” Newsmax host Rob Schmitt asked.
“Me too,” Graham said. “I think he should be impeached.”
“I think this is the most dishonorable thing a Commander-in-Chief has done, maybe in modern times,” the senator added.
“Joe Biden, for political reasons, wanted to pull all of our troops out, because of the polling numbers,” Graham continued. “And what has he done? He’s created the conditions for another 9/11. He’s abandoned thousands of people who honorably and bravely fought… along with us.”

“And how do you win this war over time if you have nobody to help you over there?” he asked. “How do you keep it from our shores if all of us are here?”
“So, here’s what I think. I think this is dereliction of duty at the highest level. I think Joe Biden deserves to be impeached because he’s abandoned thousands of Afghans who fought with us, and he’s going to abandon some American citizens because he capitulated to the Taliban 31 August deadline.”
“If I were President of the United States I would have told the Taliban to go to hell,” the senator added. “We are going to stay here as long as it takes to get our people out. And if I were President of the United States, we would have had soldiers in Afghanistan as long as it takes to keep America safe.”
Earlier this week, Graham appeared on Fox & Friends and stated that he believed Biden “deserved” to be impeached, if he “we leave one American behind.” Now that that appears to be all but a certainty, then impeachment is very much on the table as soon as one American civilian sheds a drop of blood in Afghanistan due to Biden’s disastrous and abrupt military withdrawal.
