Sleepy Joe Wants To Shut Down Primary: 'I Think We've Had Enough Debates'

Former Vice President Joe Biden may be the frontrunner for the Democratic nomination, but he's still having enormous trouble delivering a coherent sentence.
Sleepy Joe is now arguing that it's time for the Democratic primary to draw to a close and signaled a disinterest in participating in a final debate against socialist Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.
“My focus is just dealing with this crisis right now,” Biden said at a virtual press conference. “I haven’t thought about any more debates. I think we’ve had enough debates. I think we should get on with this."
The remarks came after not even a teleprompter could prevent the latest Biden gaffe.
While trying to deliver an address from his own home, the former VP seemingly lost track of his teleprompter during a speech on the coronavirus crisis and struggled mightily to get through his speech.
While discussing the crisis, Biden suddenly stopped talking, before frantically motioning off-camera staff with his hand below the podium.
While warning people about the coronavirus and detailing ways to be safe, Biden was literally touching his face despite ongoing warnings not to do that during the coronavirus pandemic.
"And, in addition to that, in addition to that we have to make sure that we, we are in a position that we are, well met me go the second thing, I've spoken enough on that," Biden said before going on to speak about the aggressive action he would like Trump to take under the Defense Production Act.
Trying to go off script, Biden eventually deserted his attempts, saying, “Let me go to the second thing.”
It didn't take long for several prominent political figures to blast Biden for the blunders.
“What a disaster,” GOP spokesperson Elizabeth Harrington wrote. “Biden has had plenty of time to think about this, and he can't even figure out what to say without help from a teleprompter.”
It's almost certain Biden will secure the Democratic nomination.
If the trend continues, and there's no indication anything will change, Biden will soon secure the party nomination and have to choose someone who will run on the ticket with him in the general election.
But it's still odd that he's apparently so arrogant that he wants to just shut everything down and just crown himself the winner.
