Ted Cruz Unloads On Reporter Who Compares Hunter Biden to His 9 and 11 Year Old Kids

Shortly after the Senate impeachment trial on Monday, Republican Senator Ted Cruz talked with reporters about the fallout. President Trump's lawyers Pam Bondi and Eric Herschmann went nuclear on the Biden family, highlighting their mass corruption and pay-to-play schemes.
One reporter, CNN's Brian Karem, had a hard time wrapping his head around the fact that the President's lawyers were going after the Biden crime family.
Karem went as far as comparing Cruz's 9 and 11 year old children to Hunter Biden when he asked the Senator if his kids should be in prison.
"Senator, over the 2 hours, none of the President's attorneys mentioned one single possible crime that Hunter or Joe Biden were accused of," Karem started. "Basically what they said was Hunter Biden got a job, his dad was Vice President. If that was a crime, shouldn't half of your children be in prison?"
Cruz fired back, "My children are 9 and 11 and I'm sorry you want to throw a 9 year old in prison but at this point, my third grader plays basketball and softball at her school so stop playing the nasty Washington games."
Karem interrupted, "I'm, sorry, that's not a nasty Washington game..."
"Attacking a 9 year old?" Cruz shot back.

The Democrats' impeachment dream may come back to bite them considering Joe and Hunter Biden are now at the center of the impeachment trial.
Republican Senator Josh Hawley has made the first move to subpoena former Vice President Joe Biden, his son, and far-left Representative Adam Schiff.
“The Missouri Republican is preparing to file subpoena requests for witnesses and documents that Democrats and Republicans alike won’t want to vote on, a tactic intended to convince a handful of senators to sink a vote next week to consider new evidence in President Donald Trump’s impeachment trial,” Politico reported. “Hawley’s strategy harmonizes with plans from GOP Sens. Ted Cruz of Texas and Rand Paul of Kentucky to force votes to hear from Hunter Biden, the former vice president’s son who was on the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma.”
He also took to Twitter and wrote, “I have drafted motions to subpoena Adam Schiff, the ‘whistleblower,’ Hunter Biden, and Joe Biden to testify. If the Senate calls witnesses, I will ask for votes on all these next week.”
Check out what the Daily Wire reported:
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer has sought to create a narrative that Senate Republicans are engaged in a cover-up because they are not allowing additional witnesses or evidence to be introduced into the trial outside of what the Democrat-controlled House already presented.
Schumer’s remarks contradict his past statements on the issue when he said that it made no sense for the Senate to call witnesses to testify when they were not called by the House.
Politico continued, “Hawley would also seek communications among the whistleblower, Schiff and his staff, transcripts of [Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael] Atkinson’s congressional testimony, communications between the House impeachment managers and Democratic presidential candidates as well as documents related to Biden’s drive to oust former Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin.”
