The Number of Migrants Apprehended At The Border In April Is Downright Terrifying

The border crisis under Joe Biden is far worse than most Americans know.

According to newly released data, a whopping 178,622 were stopped by federal law enforcement at the U.S.-Mexico border who were trying to illegally enter the country.

That number is the highest amount in more than two decades.

The April total is up 3% from 172,331 in March, which was a 20-year high for the number of people who tried to get into the United States by sneaking over between land crossings or were denied entry at border checkpoints.

Here’s the most terrifying stat of all: In 2020, only 459,000 migrants were apprehended trying to illegally enter the U.S.

In the 2021 fiscal year alone, nearly 750,000 people have been encountered trying to enter the U.S. from Mexico.

The Washington Examiner reported:

Federal law enforcement at the U.S.-Mexico border stopped 178,622 people trying to enter the country illegally in April, the highest amount in more than two decades.

The April total is up 3% from 172,331 in March, which was a 20-year high for the number of people who tried to get into the United States by sneaking over between land crossings or were denied entry at border checkpoints. Roughly 5,160 of the 178,622 people encountered were denied entry at a port of entry, while the remainder went across the border in unfenced areas.

Since fiscal 2021 year began in October 2020, nearly 750,000 people have been encountered unlawfully trying to enter the U.S. from Mexico, more than the 459,000 in all of 2020.

Not long after Biden claimed the crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border is “under control,” new data reveals that Biden could not be further from the truth.

Chief Patrol Agent Chris Clem tweeted that the Yuma Sector, which stretches across Arizona’s border with Mexico, apprehended over 1,600 illegal immigrants over the weekend.

And that is just at one major border sector. There are dozens more.

“#YumaSector apprehended more than 1,600 migrants over the weekend. Agents encountered 13 groups of 30+ that illegally crossed into the US from Mexico. The migrants crossed in areas where there is no infrastructure to deter people from illegally crossing the border on foot,” he tweeted.

A new report reveals that the administration is apprehending nearly 6,000 illegal immigrants a day at the U.S.-Mexico border.

CNN reported:

Throughout April, Customs and Border Protection has encountered an average of just under 6,000 people daily at the southern border, according to a Department of Homeland Security official, which is in line with the March average of around 5,560 people daily.

During the first three weeks of April, around 122,000 people were encountered by US border authorities on the southwest border, another signal that the month will likely be similar to March, according to preliminary data obtained by CNN.

Last month, the Biden Administration was releasing Covid positive illegal aliens into the US interior.

While there’s an increase in Covid-infected illegal aliens coming into America, Biden has substantially decreased the number of illegal aliens they are arresting.

According to Breitbart, Immigration and Customs Enforcement have carried out 75% fewer “priority” arrests, and arrests the Biden administration deems “non-priority” cut by over 80% to the same time frame in 2020.
