This Is How Many Hispanic Americans Approve Of Trump After the ICE Raids

Last week, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raided several food processing plants in Mississippi for hiring illegal alien workers. ICE arrested over 600 illegal aliens.

The media has tried using the raids by ICE against President Donald Trump, arguing that these raids are just more proof of his "racist" agenda. They have also used the raids to try to pull away his hispanic voters.

According to a recent poll, the media is falling flat on their faces.

Zogby Analytics Poll revealed that a whopping 49% of hispanic voters support the job President Trump is doing. Keep in mind that the poll was conducted directly after the raids.

This isn't the only demographic where the President is surging. Check out what Breitbart reported:

Meanwhile, Trump’s support among black Americans has surged. Nearly three-in-ten black Americans now say they support the job Trump is doing as president — the second consecutive poll showing over a quarter of black Americans support Trump. About seven-in-ten black Americans said they disapprove of Trump.
Since the raids, the food processing plants have been forced to hold job fairs in the area, potentially increasing wages and bettering working conditions to attract and compete for American workers rather than relying on an underclass of exploited illegal workers. One potential worker said the processing plant was offering $12 an hour, but he would like to negotiate a salary of $15 an hour.
The country’s importation of 1.5 million illegal and legal immigrants every year is particularly burdensome on working class minorities, newly arrived immigrants, and black Americans.
Every one percent increase in the immigrant composition of American workers’ occupations reduces their weekly wages by about 0.5 percent, researcher Steven Camarotta has found. This means the average native-born American worker today has his weekly wages reduced by perhaps 8.5 percent because of current legal immigration levels — not factoring in the wage depression caused by the roughly 7.5 million illegal aliens currently holding U.S. jobs.

The same Zogby poll had some other positive news for President Trump.

“President Trump's job approval has continued to rise the last few months,” Jonathan Zogby said.

“It's true Trump is riding high on positive economic news,” he added.

He went on to say that part of the reason President Trump's approval rating is doing well is because of the Democrats' poor performances: “It's also very plausible he is benefiting from poor performances by the Democratic presidential candidates who have continued to move very far to the left with their policies. The Democrats have floated nationalizing healthcare, strict gun control, ‘The Green New Deal,’ and raising taxes, all which are very unpopular in polling on a national level and in key battleground states.”

Zogby went on to comment on President Trump's approval rating between Republicans and Independents.

“An overwhelming number of Republicans approved (86% approve/13% disapprove), while independents were more balanced in their impression of Trump's job performance (45% approve/50% disapprove). The president's numbers continue to improve with independents, which a few months ago his approval rating was in the 30's,” his analysis added.
