Top Biden Campaign Adviser Claims That Racist Comment Was Just A Joke

Democrats and their media mouthpieces are in full damage control mode today after Joe Biden's epic racist gaffe and are spinning desperately to minimize the candidate's epic blunder.

The former vice president is facing intense fire after an interview on a popular radio show with a national black audience to pander for minority votes in the upcoming election.

Ever since the Democrat establishment dispatched with communist Bernie Sanders, the mission has been to keep Biden under wraps and his rapidly diminishing mental state outside of the public eye.

On Friday, it blew up when the gaffe-prone Biden uncorked a blatantly racist comment to host  Charlamagne tha God on "The Breakfast Club" that if you happen to be black and don't vote for him that you really "ain't" black at all.

Said lunchbucket Joe:

“If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t Black.”

No sooner had Biden made the doomsday scenario of a killer gaffe come to fruition that Democrats and his campaign team immediately knew that they were in big trouble.

Biden may have been able to do his best impression of the Warren Beatty character Senator Jay Billington Bulworth acting like a black dude but beneath the thin veneer was always the same career politician who was blistered by Kamala Harris for yukking it up with segregationist Dixiecrats.

But according to Biden campaign manager Symone Sanders, it was all just a joke.

Seeing her White House gig flashing before her eyes, Sanders took to Twitter to massage the narrative for her boss.

"Vice President Biden spent his career fighting alongside and for the African American community. He won his party's nomination by earning every vote and meeting people where they are and that's exactly what he intends to do this November."

"The comments made at the end of the Breakfast Club interview were in jest, but let’s be clear about what the VP was saying: he was making the distinction that he would put his record with the African American community up against Trump’s any day. Period."

Via The Washington Examiner, "Biden campaign downplays 'you ain't black' comment as made 'in jest'":

Joe Biden's presidential campaign addressed uproar about his remark that those who vote for President Trump are not black by saying it was just a joke.

"The comments made at the end of the Breakfast Club interview were in jest, but let’s be clear about what the VP was saying: he was making the distinction that he would put his record with the African American community up against Trump’s any day. Period," senior adviser Symone Sanders said in a tweet on Friday.

The former vice president and presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, 77, had a tense exchange on The Breakfast Club morning radio show about race issues earlier on Friday, including about marijuana legalization and the 1994 crime bill.

As a Biden staff member tried to end the interview, host Charlamagne Tha God said, "You can't do that to black media."

Biden explained that his wife had to do a show, and then he said: "If you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump, then you ain't black."

Trump allies condemned Biden's remark, and a statement from Trump's campaign called it "racist and dehumanizing."

Sanders has her own controversial history regarding blatantly racist statements.

One has to wonder whether Biden's potentially fatal self-inflicted wound was a result of his campaign's decision to bring in the former Bernie Sanders campaign official despite her obvious issues with white people and an obsession with race.

Were it not for such questionable hiring decisions the idea that a man like Biden who used to present himself as the undisputed champion of the white working class could have even ended up on "The Breakfast Club" pandering to the audience would have been inconceivable.

But when you "get woke" you risk being burned by cynical travelers and race hucksters like Symone Sanders and her ilk who just plain hate white people and who have attached themselves to desperate clueless Democrats like Biden as if they were barnacles on the bottom of a garbage barge.

But hey, he was only joking.

Will it work?

It's all dependent on the continued willingness of black Americans to be suckered by lying Democrat politicians who promise them the Moon but when the votes have been counted, they are still trapped in crime-ridden deteriorating neighborhoods until the next election cycle.

Democrats clearly believe that black people are stupid - they aren't.
