Trump Campaign Says Whitmer 'Encouraging Assassination Attempts' Against Him With Discreet TV Message

Earlier this month, the FBI announced the arrest of a half-dozen men who were allegedly plotting to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer then abandon her out in the middle of a lake somewhere -- or something of that nature.
On cue, Whitmer and the Democratic Party’s propaganda organ, the ‘mainstream media,’ began blaming President Donald Trump for a tweet he sent out earlier this year amid Whitmer’s highly controversial and widely opposed coronavirus lockdowns.
“Liberate Michigan!” Trump tweeted.
Somehow, the garbage press and Whitmer claimed that tweet incited a ‘militia-linked kidnap plot’ that not a few people believe was really just an FBI false flag operation designed to lay another ‘scandal’ at the president’s feet.
Hey, it sounds ‘out there,’ but before 2016, who would have thought a sitting president – that would be Barack Obama – and the FBI director – that would be James Comey – would plot a coup against a duly elected president – that would be Donald Trump?
Nevertheless, Whitmer may be pulling something truly diabolical – and if so, maybe it’s time for the Secret Service or the Marshal’s Service (some federal law enforcement agency other than the compromised FBI) to pay her a visit.
Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has been accused of encouraging assassination attempts on President Trump after displaying “8645” in the background of a national television interview Sunday.
Appearing on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” the Democratic governor spoke from Lansing, Mich., about her state’s coronavirus restrictions and slammed Trump’s response to the pandemic, all while the digits “8645” in bubble letters were perched by a house plant on a coffee table behind her. The numbers prompted a reaction from one of the Trump campaign’s verified Twitter accounts.
“Governor Gretchen Whitmer displayed an '86 45' sign during her TV appearance,” Trump War Room tweeted, adding: “86 can be shorthand for killing someone.”
“86” – as in, ‘Have someone eighty-six that guy.’
“45” – as in, the 45th president of the United States, a guy named Donald Trump.
“Whitmer is encouraging assassination attempts against President Trump just weeks after someone sent a ricin-laced package to the White House,” the account wrote.
The campaign referenced a package sent to the White House intercepted by Secret Service and the FBI from a Canadian woman arrested at the border a few days later and charged in the incident.
Meanwhile, Whitmer complained to NBC's Chuck Todd on Sunday that voters in her state want her locked up for locking them down.
“It's incredibly disturbing that the President of the United States — 10 days after a plot to kidnap, put me on trial, and execute me — 10 days after that was uncovered, the president is at it again and inspiring, incentivizing and inciting this kind of domestic terrorism,” Whitmer said, reacting to a clip of Michigan residents chanting "Lock her up!" at a Trump rally.
“It is wrong. It has got to end – not just for me and my family but for public servants everywhere who are doing their jobs and trying to protect their fellow Americans.”
Uh, who's threatening who, Gretch? And again -- what's with the numbers?
