Trump Mocks Fox News Hosts During Interview About Knowing Whistleblower's Name

On Friday during an interview with "Fox and Friends," President Trump mocked the Fox News hosts to their faces about knowing who the "anonymous" whistleblower was who sparked the entire impeachment inquiry.

While speaking to the hosts, the President revealed that he knows exactly who the whistleblower is and that everyone in Washington D.C. and the media knows who they are as well.

“Let me just interrupt for a second, Mr. President, you said we know the whistleblower, we’ve seen names on the internet, we have no idea who the whistleblower is,” Fox News host Steve Doocy claimed.

“Right,” co-host Brian Kilmeade agreed.

President Trump replied saying, “No, I don’t believe, Steve…”

The President continued, “I don’t think that Steve has ever told a lie — Ainsley, Brian — in his life but that one I’m sort of thinking…”

“We’ve seen names online, but Mr. President, we don’t have any verification,” Doocy responded.

“Yeah, and it doesn’t matter anyway, we’re not going to use it,” Kilmeade said.

“Forget the verification,” President Trump shot back, “you know exactly who it is … but I like that you say that.”

During the same interview President Trump revealed that he supports an impeachment trial in the Senate.

The President's comments come after the House Intelligence Committee held impeachment hearings over the past couple weeks. Although they had many witnesses, no impeachable crimes were found.

If impeachment were to make it's way to the Senate, President Trump stated that he would call on the whistleblower, Adam Schiff and Hunter Biden to testify.

According the Daily Caller, "the president reportedly met with Senate Republicans on Thursday and the group agreed that the Senate would hold a trial if the House of Representatives voted to impeach Trump."

“Well there’s only one person I want more than ‘Where’s Hunter,'” the president said, while talking about former Vice President Joe Biden's son Hunter Biden, “and that is Adam Schiff.”

“I want to see Adam Schiff testify about the whistleblower, who is a fake whistleblower,” Trump stated.

Check out what the Daily Caller reported:

The president criticized Schiff for reading a fabricated version of his July 25 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and for allowing his staffers to speak to the anonymous whistleblower before that individual filed his or her complaint.

Trump also called on the whistleblower to testify and asserted that “everybody” knows the whistleblower’s identity, but declined to name that person on air.

Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., caused an uproar several weeks ago when he shared a news article from RealClearPolitics that purported to identify the whistleblower.

Later on during the interview, President Trump also weighed in on the upcoming Department of Justice Inspector General's report, describing it as "historic."

“They were spying on my campaign and it went right to the top and everybody knows it and now we’re going to find out,” President Trump said in a phone interview with Fox and Friends on Friday morning.

The President made it clear that he was not at all involved with the investigation and left it all to Attorney General Willam Barr.

“He’s a great attorney general we would maybe have ended this thing a lot sooner had he been there originally,” President Trump said.

The President went on, saying that the drop of the report will be "the biggest scandal in the history of our country."

“What you’re going to see, I predict, will be perhaps the biggest scandal in the history of our country,” he said.
