President Trump is absolutely punishing disgruntled former employee John Bolton over wild allegations from leaked portions of has controversial book that were provided to the media.
This week's sickening spectacle is watching the same media that once despised Bolton placing the fired former ex-national security adviser on a pedestal because of his hatred for the leader of the free world.
With the media polishing Bolton's newly-minted halo and House Democrats licking their chops over coming investigations into his claims, Trump went on the offense in a series of bursts from his weaponized Twitter account.
Per the POTUS:
"Wacko John Bolton’s “exceedingly tedious”(New York Times) book is made up of lies & fake stories. Said all good about me, in print, until the day I fired him. A disgruntled boring fool who only wanted to go to war. Never had a clue, was ostracized & happily dumped. What a dope!"
"President Bush fired him also. Bolton is incompetent!"
Trump also blasted Bolton during a Wednesday interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity.
Via The Washington Examiner, 'He broke the law': Trump slams John Bolton as 'washed-up guy':
"[It was] a terrible, terrible thing that he did, but he broke the law. Very simple," Trump said in an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity on Wednesday. "This is ... highly classified information. And he did not have approval that has come out now, very loud and very strong."
Bolton's forthcoming memoir, The Room Where It Happened, has been attacked by both sides of the political aisle, with Democrats pointing to his refusal to testify about alleged misconduct during the House impeachment hearings and Republicans labeling the claims as resentment toward Trump.
"He was a washed-up guy ... he couldn’t get Senate confirmed, so I gave him a non-Senate confirmed position, where I could just put him there, see how he worked," Trump said.
Trump also attacked Bolton earlier on Thursday in the Wall Street Journal while defending his own foreign policy decisions, especially on trade.
“He is a liar,” Trump said, adding that “everybody in the White House hated John Bolton.”
Other than bottom feeders Omarosa and "the Mooch" there were few worse hires by Trump than the bellicose warmonger Bolton, a man whose notoriety should have quickly disqualified him from consideration.
An arrogant egomaniac who briefly held the position of US Ambassador To The United Nations under President George W. Bush, Bolton's psychotic lust for sending the sons and daughters of American mothers to die in unnecessary wars was once denounced by both the left and principled conservatives.
President Trump hired him anyway and realizing that he had made a mistake, fired the mustachioed career swamp dweller last year which sent Bolton scurrying off to Simon & Schuster to get even by signing a book deal.
With "The Room Where It Happened" scheduled to be published on Tuesday and a DOJ lawsuit seeking to prevent the release due to concerns that it contains classified material that could jeopardize national security, the media is rushing to get it out anyway.
Among Bolton's claims is that President Trump begged Chinese leader Xi Jinpeng for help to win the 2020 election and that he wanted to see "scumbag" journalists executed which will be pounced on by a media that is becoming increasingly desperate.
