On Wednesday, during his 9/11 memorial speech, President Donald Trump strongly threatened terrorists who hope to harm America by saying the United States will find them and destroy them “wherever they are.”
The memorial ceremony was at the Pentagon to remember the 3,000 lives that were lost on this terrible day 18 years ago.
“We come here in the knowledge that we cannot erase the pain or reverse the evil of that dark and wretched day,” President Trump said. “But we offer you all that we have — our unwavering loyalty, our undying devotion, and our eternal pledge that your loved ones will never, ever be forgotten.”
The President also mentioned his decision to cancel the peace talks with the Taliban for showing “unrelenting weakness."
“The last four days we have hit our enemy harder than they have ever been hit before. And that will continue,” the president said. “And if for any reason, they come back to our country, we will go wherever they are, and use power the likes of which the United States has never used before. And I’m not even talking about nuclear power. They will never have seen anything like what will happen to them. No enemy on Earth can match the overwhelming strength, skill, and might of the American armed forces."
While President Trump strongly threatens those who seek to harm America, the New York Times is blaming the attack on the World Trade Center on "airplanes."
The New York Times reported: “Eighteen years have passed since airplanes took aim at the World Trade Center and brought them down.”

The Times Twitter account also released the same headline, “18 years have passed since airplanes took aim and brought down the World Trade Center," but was later deleted after they received major backlash.

Although they deleted the tweet, the New York Times' article still reads the line, “18 years have passed since airplanes took aim and brought down the World Trade Center."
There is no mention of the words "Islam" or "al Qaeda" throughout the entire article.
While the New York Times sympathizes with Islamic terrorists, President Trump is taking a different approach. On the anniversary of 9/11, President Donald Trump decided to drop 40 tons of bombs on an ISIS "infested" Island in the Tigris River.
According to the New York Post the operation "targeted the Qanus Island in the Tigris River," and was "carried out by the US and a coalition of other countries in the fight to permanently erase ISIS strongholds in the country."
