Washington Post Calls Out Schiff for His Blatant Lies

In a shocking move for the fake news media, the Washington Post gave far-left House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff four pinocchios after he falsely claimed that he and his staff did not speak with the whistleblower before the infamous complaint was filed.
On MSNBC, Schiff blatantly lied when he said, "We have not spoken directly with the whistleblower. We would like to."
This was completely false. On Wednesday, the New York Times dropped a bombshell which revealed that the anti-Trump whistleblower coordinated with Schiff before the infamous complaint was even made.
“The early account by the future whistle-blower … explains how Mr. Schiff knew to press for the complaint when the Trump administration initially blocked lawmakers from seeing it,” The New York Times reported. “Before going to Congress, the C.I.A. officer had a colleague convey his accusations to the agency’s top lawyer. Concerned about how that avenue for airing his allegations was unfolding, the officer then approached a House Intelligence Committee aide, alerting him to the accusation against Mr. Trump. ”
“This is flat-out false,” said the Post’s Glenn Kessler while responding to Schiff's claim that he nor his staff had talked to the whistleblower. “Unlike the quick two-step dance he performed with Anderson Cooper, Schiff simply says the committee had not spoken to the whistleblower. Now we know that’s not true.”
Kessler added that instead of dodging the question, Schiff decided to lie to the American people.
“There’s nothing wrong with dodging a question, as long as you don’t try to mislead,” he wrote. “But Schiff on ‘Morning Joe’ clearly made a statement that was false.”
“He compounded his falsehood by telling reporters a few days later that if not for the IG’s office, the committee would not have known about the complaint,” Kessler continued. “That again suggested there had been no prior communication.”
This isn't the only instance where Schiff completely lied to the American people. Last Thursday during a hearing with Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire, Schiff gave his fabricated account of what happened during the infamous phone call. Almost every word was made up.
“This is the essence of what the president communicates. We’ve been very good to your country, very good, no other country has done as much as we have, but you know what, I don’t see much reciprocity here. I hear what you want. I have a favor I want from you, though. And I’m going to say this only seven times, so you better listen good.”
Schiff continued with his made up quotes: “I want you to make up dirt on my political opponent, understand, lots of it, on this and on that. I’m going to put you in touch with people, not just any people, I’m going to put you in touch with the attorney general of the United States, my attorney general Bill Barr. He’s got the whole weight of the American law enforcement behind him.”
