Washington Reporter: Dems Are Quietly Admitting that Biden Lacks “Mental Acuity”

According to Washington D.C. reporter for The Hill Joe Concha, Democrats are quietly admitting that former Vice President and 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden “does not have the mental acuity that he even had a couple of years ago.”

The comments from Concha came during an interview with Fox News’ Steve Doocy while the two talked about how Biden has been avoiding press conferences unlike President Donald Trump.

“A lot of Democrats will tell you, at least privately, that he does not have the mental acuity that he even had a couple of years ago and this is a candidate that simply would not able to withstand the type of press conferences that the current president has, as far as them going on for an hour, an hour and a half, taking questions with multiple outlets with no ground rules attached,” Concha said.

It has been three whole months since Biden has held a press conference and has instead been holding “virtual rallies” from his basement and has had virtual interviews with far-left shows who give him soft ball questions.

“It’s a lot easier … to have, say, a handpicked interview, where you have ground rules for interviews, with certain outlets that may be friendly to your candidate, as opposed to having a press conference, which Mr. Biden has not done for 80 days,” Concha said.

The Biden campaign is clearly nervous about the upcoming debates between Biden and President Trump. Last Thursday, the Biden campaign embarrassingly rejected the Trump campaign’s push to schedule more debates in the future between the two candidates.

Instead of admitting that Biden is a stumbling, bumbling man with early stages of dementia, deputy campaign manager and communications director for the Biden campaign Kate Bedingfield said that the only reason Trump wants more debates is because he is dipping into the polls.

“Six months after announcing he did not want to debate, Donald Trump — now trailing in the polls — wants to change the subject from his failed leadership, and launch a ‘campaign’ for many debates. But there’s a catch: he’ll only do it if he can pick the moderators,” Bedingfield said in a statement.

Biden’s mental decline is no secret to the American people either. According to a new Zogby poll, 55% of “likely voters” think that former Biden “is in the early stages of dementia.”

“Overall, subgroups who normally approve of Trump’s job as president, were the most likely to believe Biden could be suffering from dementia,” the poll found. “Thus, majorities of Republicans (77% more likely/23% less likely) and Independents (56% more likely/44% less likely) thought Joe Biden had early-onset dementia; while nearly a third of Democrats (32% more likely/68% less likely) thought this was the case.”

“At the same time, some important subgroups did not believe the vice president was exhibiting a declining mental capacity. While a majority of men (60% more likely/40% less likely) thought it this was likely, women (50% more likely/50% less likely) were less likely to think that the vice president was in the early stages of dementia,” Zogby International wrote.

They continue:

There was also an inverse relationship in the data between age and the likelihood of voters believing Biden had early-onset dementia, for example; as the age of voters increased the likelihood of voters believing Biden was exhibiting early-onset dementia decreased. Younger voters aged 18-24 (60% more likely/40% less likely) and 18-29 (59% more likely/41% less likely) were more likely to believe Biden had dementia than older voters aged 65+ (50% more likely/50% less likely).

Likely voters living in medium size cities (61% more likely/39% less likely) were more likely to believe Biden had dementia than voters living in the suburbs (52% more likely/48% less likely) and large cities (55% more likely/45% less likely). Suburban women (49% more likely/51% less likely) did not think Biden was mentally slipping but men living in urban areas (62% more likely/38% less likely) believed so.
