Without question, the vast majority of Americans who support former President Donald Trump were angry and frustrated throughout 2020 passed with barely a mention of then-U.S. Attorney John Durham’s criminal investigation into the FBI’s fraudulent “Russiagate” counterterrorism operation directed at his 2016 campaign.
In the weeks before the November election, word got out that then-Attorney General William Barr wasn’t going to announce any indictments or even a report on Durham’s investigation because he did not want to influence the outcome.
So far, in fact, the only indictment to come out of the Durham probe is that of former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith, who essentially got a slap on the wrist for filing false documents with the FISA court to get a warrant on 2016 Trump campaign adviser (and CIA asset) Carter Page.
After Trump was ‘defeated’ by Joe Biden, the former president’s supporters all but gave up on Durham’s probe, even though he has been kept on by the current regime.
Now, however, Just The News founder John Solomon says his sources, which have been reliable in the past, tell him that Durham’s preparing a series of indictments after a key member of the FBI leadership who was close to fired Director James Comey and fired counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok has reportedly turned and is providing investigators with the goods, so to speak.
There’s a catch, however: The Biden Justice Department will have to ‘okay’ them.
Solomon made his remarks about Durham’s probe in an interview Sunday with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo.
John Solomon reports "big news": "A former member of the Comey-McCabe inner circle, one of the senior FBI executives — I don't know which one yet — but one of them has begun cooperating" with John Durham…

“It’s a very active criminal case, a lot of witnesses, a lot of negotiations with lawyers,” Solomon began.
“The big news is that a former member of Comey-[fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew] McCabe inner circle, one of the senior FBI executives — I don’t know which one yet — one of them has begun cooperating and that’s opened up a tremendous amount of internal knowledge” regarding the “nuances” and other details around the origins of Russigate, Solomon said.
“Very big breakthrough for John Durham,” he added.
Bartiromo responded by noting that, earlier in her program, former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe said he met with Barr and Durham more than a year ago and that all three had decided there was no “predicate” — no reason — to launch any ‘Russian collusion’ probe into the Trump campaign, meaning that the Obama regime allowed one to go forward for purely political reasons.
“That’s absolutely true,” Solomon said. “In fact, I’ve had many experts I’ve had look at it have come to that conclusion after they read all the documents.
“So if you open a false investigation and you sustain it with false evidence, does that amount to a crime? That’s the question that John Durham’s trying to answer,” the veteran newsman continued.
Bartiromo asked if there were going to be any indictments, noting that the scandal has been allowed to fester for five long years with little punishment meted out.
“Some of the witnesses that I’ve talked to and their defense lawyers feel like John Durham is getting ready to pull the trigger on some criminal charges,” said Solomon. “Again, he’ll have to get permission from the Biden Justice Department. We’ll have to see if that happens.
“But all the signs are they’re moving towards criminal charges” within the next six-to-eight weeks, he added.
Time will tell whether Biden’s ‘Justice Department’ will be as political as Obama’s obviously was. We may already know the answer.
