It’s been proven time and again that late night television is dead, but primetime isn’t in much better shape. Forced diversity, stale, recycled stories, and lack of imagination has all but choked out network tv. So, what to do? How about streaming? There are numerous services and shows to binge, but what if you want entertainment-based news and politics? There are numerous shows, but most are helmed by leftists eager to push their own agenda’s.
There are a couple of exceptions. Bill Maher, an avowed liberal often provides point of views that run opposite of the lib narrative, and now Comedy Central’s Charlamagne tha God has drawn attention for some interesting comments he made regarding Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and sending plane loads of illegal immigrants to lib playground Martha’s Vineyard. Check this out from Breitbart:
Comedian and talk-show host Charlamagne tha God declared on his Comedy Central show Monday evening that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) was a “genius” for exposing the hypocrisy of Democrats by sending migrants to wealthy Martha’s Vineyard.
The rich, liberal enclave, which posts signs official declaring that immigrants are welcome in the community, declared a crisis last week when a mere 50 migrants showed up and moved them off the island to a nearby military base within 48 hours.
"I personally think it's genius."

We all know that Democrats are hypocrites of the highest order on most issues. It’s always convenient for them to tell everyone else how to live and think, but when their feet are held to the fire, they cry foul. Martha’s Vineyard just proved that point once again. Charlamagne took them to task on his show, pointing out the hypocrisy.

“I personally think it’s genius.” Charlamagne said.
Charlamagne continued that he wished politicians like DeSantis and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott — whose administration has organized the bussing of thousands of migrants to Washington, DC, New York City, and Chicago — “would give Democratic governors and mayors more of a heads up because then that would expose the hypocrisy of the Democrats, which is they don’t want immigrants here either.”
It’s truly sad that people that just want a new life in America have to be carted around and spoken of like they are a burden, but there is a way to enter America legally. Millions of immigrants have come here legally, but millions more sneak in, and they ARE a burden. Mostly to the overwhelmed border towns where they are being housed. Now maybe liberals will see that the entire issue isn’t just about compassion, rather ability to accommodate so many people here illegally.
It should be noted that Charlamagne isn’t a Conservative, rather quite the opposite. However, he is one of a hopefully growing contingency of liberal personalities with platforms that can draw attention to some of the absurdities of the left. These hypocrites need to be called out and taken to task, and celebrities like Bill Maher and Charlamagne tha God can go a long way toward getting this done. I’ve never seen his show on Comedy Central, “Comedy Central’s Hell of a Week”, but might be tempted to check it out if he is willing to talk some sense.
