WATCH: 'The Squad's' Ayanna Pressley Calls to Declare Racism a National Emergency

On Tuesday, far-left Democratic congresswoman Ayanna Pressely called for a National Emergency to address racism, calling it a "public health crisis."

"Nationwide, police brutality is the 6th leading cause of death for young Black men," she said in a tweet. "From Cambridge to Roxbury in the #MA7, life expectancy drops by 30 years. Racism IS a public health crisis & my bill with @SenWarren & @RepBarbaraLee would treat it as such."

In the video that Pressely shared to Twitter, she is shown having an interview where she claims that police killings are the 6th leading cause of death in young black males.

Pressely conveniently left out the fact that the leading cause of death in young black males is homicide.

Pressely also left out the fact that twice as many whites are killed by the police each year despite having a lower violent crime rate.
