‘Where is AOC?’ Graham Calls Out NY Dem For Being MIA on Border Crisis

During the Trump administration, drama queen and former bartender Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez took a trip to a migrant detention facility in Texas wearing.

Wearing all white, she was photographed during a widely publicized border visit in 2018 displaying various emotions — tears, anguish, frustration, concern, fear — as she peered into a holding area surrounded by a chain-link fence.

But it turned out to be nothing more than political theater: She was busted by other photographers whose wider-angled shots showed clearly that AOC, as she is known, was not lamenting over migrant children as advertised because there was no one on the other side.

In fact, it was an empty roadway.

Now, there is a new crisis on the U.S.-Mexico border, one of Joe Biden’s making. And yet, AOC hasn’t found the time yet to and mourn the thousands of newly-detained migrant children, most of whom are sleeping on floors wrapped by tinfoil-like blankets, if the photos published by Project Veritas are accurate.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) called out the Bronx Democratic socialist for her hypocrisy.

“Where is AOC?” the senator asked on Wednesday during a press conference.

“Most Republicans want to make sure that we deal fairly with those who’ve been here a long time but we address the underlying problems of legal immigration,” Graham continued. “That’s not an unreasonable request.”

“There used to be Democrats that understood to get legalization on the table, you had to address the underlying causes of illegal immigration,” he continued. “Those voices have been silenced. The open borders crowd is now firmly in control of immigration.”

“Where is AOC?” Graham asked. “Why aren’t you at the border looking at the things being reported. If you were worried about children under Trump being in bad conditions, this is worse. If you’re worried about people having COVID outbreaks, this is the biggest COVID spreader in the entire country. So where are you?”

Fox News has identified only two relatively mild tweets from the New York Democrat commenting on the matter during the Biden administration, however.

“This is not okay, never has been okay, never will be okay – no matter the administration or party,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote on Feb. 23 in response to a Washington Post story titled, “First migrant facility for children opens under Biden.”

“It’s only 2 [months] into this admin [and] our fraught, unjust immigration system will not transform in that time. That’s why bold reimagination is so impt. DHS shouldn’t exist, agencies should be reorganized, ICE gotta go, ban for-profit detention, create climate refugee status [and] more,” she continued.

Later the same day, she responded to a Twitter user who asked how unaccompanied minor migrant children should be dealt with.

“1 short term shift is requiring influx facilities w/ children to be licensed. Another issue is whether these services should be contracted out the way they are,” she wrote. “And whether facilities w/ controversial records (ex. Homestead) should even be reopened.”

Not quite the drama from 2018, is it? Or the tenor used against the Trump administration.

Remember the “concentration camp” rhetoric?

“The GOP has supported building mass concentration camps on the southern border. Kids & families are dying. Now they want money for more – [with] ZERO negotiation on how $ is spent. We can’t do that. They‘ve shown that when they get more money, they build more camps. #CloseTheCamps,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote on Twitter in June 2019.
