White House Counsel Totally Obliterates Jerrold Nadler

Tempers flared during Tuesday's marathon session of the Senate phase of President Trump's impeachment and resulted in Jerrold Nadler being smacked down in ugly fashion.

As the first day stretched on past midnight, the porcine chairman of the House Judiciary Committee who has hated Trump for decades when they butted heads in New York City was put in his place by the president's attorneys.

In the midst of a series of crushing defeats for Democrats as fellow New Yorker Chuck Schumer's amendments went down in flames one by one, Nadler took to the microphone to whine and to engage in conspiracy-mongering.

URGENT POLL: Do you support Trump against Dem impeachment efforts?

Upset over the torpedoing of Dem efforts to trot out disgruntled former national security adviser John Bolton who was fired by Trump as a witness, Nadler accused GOP senators of engaging in a cover-up.

But White House Counsel Pat Cipollone was having none of it and denounced the Democrats' impeachment manager for being a liar, shamed him for his disrespect and best of all, made it clear that unlike the House, that Nader is not in charge here.

Per Mr. Cipollone:

“Mr. Nadler came up here and made false allegations against our team, he made false allegations against all of you, he accused you of a cover-up. He’s been making false allegations against the president. The only one who should be embarrassed, Mr. Nadler, is you, for the way you’ve addressed this body. This is the United States Senate. You’re not in charge here”

White House Counsel Jay Sekulow also ripped Nadler and his disregard for the Constitution.

Things became so testy that Chief Justice John Roberts had to jump in and remind Nadler and his fellow Democrats that things are different in the Senate and that there would be no tolerance for the games that were played in the House where mob rule prevailed.

If the first day is any indication, Democrats are going to soon be slinking back to the House to cook up another set of bogus articles of impeachment.
